I can't see any further signings unless we either qualify for the CL or manage to get some of the deadwood off the books.

Looking forward to seeing Sinclair and Tierney together, could be the best pairing on the left we've had since i've been watching us. McNamara and Thompson were good in the 2003-04 season but Tierney and Sinclair could be fantastic for a good few years.

Having Roberts and Sinclair will be something else too, we've never really had two quality goalscoring widemen in the same team either. Full-backs of the SPL will be shiting themselves.

I wonder how much we'll get fined by UEFA for flying Palestinian flags?”

Dont know anything of them either, noticed 2 other Israeli teams went through in the Europa League last night too so 3 of their teams have made it to the play-off round. You'd imagine they will be quite good if the other teams in their League are doing well and as you said they knocked out Olympiacos who on paper were probably the best team in our side of the qualifiers.

It's about time!!

For three years Peter Lawell has been penny pinching. £4 million on the scale things isn't that much and Sinclair should rip the SPL up. A significant upgrade on Forrest.

If we don't get CL it is a helluva lot but I agree that he is an upgrade on Forrest.

Yeah sometimes you just have to pay for that extra bit of quality.

Rather £4m on the likes of Sinclair than abunch of Pukki/Scepovic/Bangura/Balde punts which end up costing just as much.

Yeah, that's a fair point.

Maybe I'm too used to maybe spending a couple million on a youngster hoping that they have a good resale value in a couple years?

£4m is a steal in today's financial climate. You have to remember that this a world in which Ross McCormack goes for three times that!

Yep £4 million is a good deal for Celtic.

What's the alternative for £4 mil? Would be a struggle.

Whos the ref in the Sevco game? cant mind seeing him before, booking Hamilton for every foul committed.

Hope your not talking about your supper no8 him & Nico are utterly clueless today

The guy ran past Barton on the wing like he wasn't even there, & wot was Nico thinking with that slide tackle in the box just before the goal ? your midfield are 2 slow, why is Barton playing so deep in your half, the mind boggles @ times !!!!!

& one last thing I thought Miller was playing ?

Keep up the good work "The Pride of the Shire "

He was talking about Scott Sinclair I think but yeah Barton looks well past it, cant run at all looks like hes got half a dozen sand bags tied to his back.

Kenny Millers horrendous first touch has him chasing the ball round in circles trying to control it. Kranjcar I think everyone knew would be similar to that, hes had no pace or energy his entire career.

Hamilton may be the worst if not 2nd worst SPL team too behind Kilmarnock and look comfortable here.

Awful decision there, Brophy could have ran through on goal not suprising from this Ref though. Kiernan was just weak.

Oh and then he gives Hailliday a foul for a dive at the other end.

A steal is stretching it to put it mildly and the comparison with McCormack is, IMO, a silly one.

In the last 4 seasons Sinclair has played about 60 games and scored 10 goals, McCormack has played about 190 games and scored about 80 goals.

Remember Sinclair isn't a striker and secondly his been playing at a higher level than McCormack.

First touch so bad the second touch is a tackle.

The Scottish media hacks won't be pleased with that result at all.

They'll be bealing at the result lol Hamiltons first point at Ibrox since 1937 when Clint Hill was only in nappies.

No pace in that side. An old spine there for the taking.

As a Celtic fan I was laughing at him, he was almost late into every tackle and couldnt run, players ran in behind him about a dozen times then there was one cock-up where him and Over the Clint almost sent a Hamilton player through from nothing.

He'll struggle badly up here you can see his legs have gone.

That's why I said it was a poor comparison.

Sinclair hasn't really been playing though has he?

15, 11, 16 and 27 games over the last 4 season.
