Am I right in saying a Celtic victory will mean each of the other 11 premiership teams will get a £200k+ warchest.

I thought it was £150k?

On what grounds? It's not illegal to take a Palestinian flag into a football ground.

3 year old claims by Ray Stubbs? Brilliant

Didn't know Scotland was a police state!

You can't stop people taking in flags. It is not a crime

Have you ever been to a football game? They can stop you entering for whatever reason they like.

You are entering private property with an illicit banner, the club can take measures to stop you. They can revoke your tickets for any reason they like.

Stop with the illicit banner. Celtic football club do not belive it's an illicit banner hence there being no ban on taking them into the ground. A Palestinian flag is about as illicit as the union Jack.

Surprised you didn't try to deny sectarian singing was sung at the game.

Please remind me when Celtic said it was an illicit banner. Celtic didn't have a problem with it just like any sane person.

Oh dear, this is rather tedious.

It happened. I have no reason to make it up.

You also know it happened. If you genuinely believe that fans of The Rangers have stopped singing "The Billy Boys"...well, I don't think it needs said what that says about you.

Quote:
“ Until they are up on a charge there is nothing to say about it. Celtic are up on a charge and have been done for it before, that's the difference.”

Of course there's something to say about it.

Even if you're not prepared to accept that The Rangers fans did sing sectarian songs (even though they did), it's still entirely relevant for you to speculate on a possible punishment. Especially since you're speculating on a punishment for a club that's not been found guilty of any wrongdoing yet.

So go on - if a club's fans are found to have sung sectarian songs, what should the punishment for that club (or is it company?) be?

Celtic know they will be fined, as they were before, as it is an illicit banner and they don't have to let you in. Fans have had scarves confiscated with slogans on them before that could antagonise. Go to a game and find out for yourself. You act as if you can just do what you like on private property when the ticket says otherwise.

What charge were they up on? Did Lord Justice Ray Stubbs mete out some justice?

A Police State nice over reaction

Perhaps more diligence from the Police and Stewards on the night would have saved your club from UEFA sanctions yet again

Bring back the days when games at Parkhead were remembered for Celtic defeating big teams from across Europe against all odds rather than petty political protests

Good luck tonight

Even though they were fined for it 2 years ago? I mean come on be serious. Celtic fans used to get awards for good behaviour and acclaimed, now they are up before the beak every season for something stupid. Aren't you sick of that bad press?

Funny to hear a 'Rangers' fan talk about being up on a charge as if that's all that counts on whether something was done or not.

Your own fans didn't accept the charges made against the old club which led to a points deduction. The new club didn't accept the charges made to fans invading the Hamden pitch wanting to be violent. Your support and board claimed these charges were incorrect as the hooligans were simply defending players and women and children.

You don't accept the charges made by HRMC claiming tax avoidance.

Please don't talk about charges.

Oh and of course you denied the singing. Ray stubbs was lying, he didn't hear anything and it was all in his imagination. Sevco fans singing about fenian blood. Never

Really ? So a fan could take an ISIS flag into a ground and you would find that
acceptable? Wow.

Other than the fact those flags are illegal to display by law.

That's not the same at all. Just like it wouldn't be acceptable for someone to walk around with a nazi flag.

How any of that is comparable to a national flag recognized by UEFA I have no idea.

Now as for the sevco sectarian singing.

Quote:
““If I recall correctly, the Billy Boys was sung after the Hibs fans came on to the pitch. We don’t condone that kind of behaviour.

“However, if I had a choice between the fans singing a song or piling over the wall into a pitched battle with the Hibs fans, I know what I would choose.

“That doesn’t make it right, but you have to put it into context. I’d rather have that than two or three thousand piling over the wall and we have a riot on our hands.”

So still no sectarian songs?

Charges are the only thing that matters. The perpetually offended who sing and say things 10 times worse in private mean nothing to me.

There are different versions of the Billy Boys, you wouldn't know as you'd never been to a game. You getting offended means nothing to me though, only charges that will be robustly challenged.

You do make me laugh. You're one of the Celtic fans can do no wrong.
I guess you are a bit too young or have your head in the sand.

I'm a London spurs fan and I admire the protest you Celtic fans organised.

They say sports and politics don't mix but there are things more important than sport and you Celtic fans exemplified a dignity.

Well done and keep it going.

A poor first half.

Janko has been awful. Shocking tackle for the pen and has been all over the place.

Tierney left his post for the goal but I feel a better GK saves that header. It wasn't in the corner and again another goal in Europe I think Gordon shouldn't concede.

Toure at times defending on his own. Rogic needs to replace McGregor and Roberts for Forrest. Need another player to run with the ball.

Tough to watch but credit to Rodgers changing to a back 3 to see the game out.

Hopefully we'll spend some of that jackpot coming now.
