Aberdeen to get Dundee Utd and The Rangers to get an 'easier' draw if they get by Albion Rovers?

When did Tom English become a BBC staffer?
English is now permanent on BBC Sportsound.

A dodgy referee earns the Rangers a replay, no real surprise

Shows how bad the decision was when two former Rangers players in the studio said the goal should have been disallowed

St Johnstone v Aberdeen

Rangers/Albion Rovers v Dundee United

Dundee United v Aberdeen final for me. I confident United will be too strong for Rangers even at Ibrox

On another note - that pitch does not deserve any semi finals to be played on it - I've seen better looking playing fields.

Just saw the The Rangers equaliser.

A terrible decision by the referee to let it stand.

Very unusual to see a goalie not get the decision!

You'll have noticed that none of the regular posters on here are shocked that a free kick wasn't awarded.

More than a hint of a suggestion of handball as well.

True - just a hint going the way of the big club in trouble.

How many wee teams do you support apart from Celtic then??

We were grim yesterday against a very poor team who were there for the taking if we had shown any sort of composure in the final third. We are carrying far too many passengers who we will no doubt have to pay someone to take off our hands ... the only thing in our favour is the quite public insistence by the Albion manager that they will win the replay. Quite strange psychology imho.

At least Celtic are out or United would have had the possibility of playing Rangers at Ibrox in the semi's then Celtic at Parkhead in the final.

I heard Davie Provan saying the ground rental fee is a 6 figure sum so you can be assured Ibrox will definitely be where it's played.

Pretty sure semi tickets will be around 25 quid as well unlike last season when they were 15.

Do both clubs have to agree lower prices if not the sfa set them, I am pretty sure we have had semis before with two different sets of admission prices

Did the Arab Trust come out when the semi final and final venue were first announced and say that Celtic and Rangers shouldn't have the potential of home advantage?

If not then they have left it a bit late to complain.

Just watched the first half of Killie v Celtic. Dire stuff. The second half can only get better, surely!

I guess that is the difference between watching a game on the telly and being at the ground.

I didn't think the first half was that bad.

D'Utd ask for the Cup semi to be switched to Celtic Park after being allocated just 13,100 tickets.

That shouldn't happen surely? As it was decided ages ago it would be Ibrox for the semi and CP for the final
