Just think, if Dembele had netted the penalty it may well have riled Barca & they could have hit double figures...
Probably no bad thing he missed

At least Celtic are in the Champions League and have earned the right to play the very best like Barcelona.

And probably most Celtic fans would have taken an ass whooping from Barcelona tonight if it meant they got to destroy Rangers at the weekend.

I think the Celtic fans who were there would have fortunate to witness one of the greatest attacking teams of all time at their very best, even if it was against them.

Glad you laughed. If Rangers had been playing Barca, it would have been 10.

Shows how poor Rangers are that they can't beat a Celtic team with a crap defence.

I expected Celtic to lose tonight. Most teams that play Barca get humped.

Their front three would destroy any team.

Their front three didn't play a lot of that game. They started with Alcacer and Arda Turan.

What a laugh that was, men against toddlers. Brenda with his flat back 10 and he still got beat 7-0. The worst European defeat in their history. The second goal Messi walked it into the net. Timmy's coupon for both teams to score didn't pan out either, what a penalty from Dembele. Could have hit it harder with a sockful of shite.

Why is Patrick Roberts paid? What is a Gamboa? And does De Vries know he's allowed to use his hands? Special mention to Scott Brown for getting close to Neymar that one time when he pushed him over.

Laugh all you want. no Scottish team can compete against the likes of Barcelona. Shows how poor your team are then when you can't beat a poor Celtic defence.

If Rangers had played Barca. It would have been 10.

After the way we humiliated The Rangers on Saturday it was our turn to be on the receiving end last night.

We weren't too bad in the first half but in the second we were ripped apart and left chasing shadows.

De Vries looks worse then Gordon.

Brendan's always good for a on liner. "The turning point was missing the pen"
Yes, scoring that would of stopped the six goals......

You had 10 at the back and still lost 7-0. That Gamboa is some player, where did you find him? Big de Vries looks like he won a competition in the Daily Record to play. The only time he got close to the ball was when it hit him on the way back out.

Absolutely brilliant laugh though, 3 minutes in and the game was over and the penalty was a masterclass in how to make yourself look like a clown in front of 500 million people. Brenda going on about Barcelona not facing 5 at the back, well no wonder based on that inept display.

I think it is a bit too early to say that, he has only played a handful of games.

We need to work on the defence to start getting more clean sheets.

Can't wait to see Aguero, De Bruyne and Silva have a go at Gamboa & co. This is a cracker of a quote from Brenda:

Quote:
“"I've been really, really disappointed twice in my career when I've lost players," said Rodgers, who was sacked by Liverpool last October. "One was Luis Suarez at Liverpool and the first was Dorus on a free when he left Swansea”

Considering they are only in the champions league because of Craig Gordon you'd think he'd have more loyalty towards him.

Considering how bad our defence is, you only managed to score once on Saturday.

What does that say how bad Rangers are?

Sky have tweeted that The Rangers v Celtic game will be played on Hogmanay.

Can't see the police being too happy with that.

I'd imagine the police were consulted.

Lunchtime on Hogmanay isn't really that much different to any other Saturday.
