Some decisions for Rodgers to make today.

Does he start Gordon or De Vries? Gamboa or Lustig? Forrest or Roberts?

Hopefully Dembele has the same shooting boots he had last Saturday.

I would pick

De Vries
Gamboa
Toure
Sviatchenko
Tierney
Brown
Armstrong
Roberts
Rogic
Sinclair
Dembele

Dont think you can really judge De Vries and Gamboa against Barcelona, we could have had Neuer and Lahm and probably would still have lost by 4+ goals.

Armstrong should get a chance in centre midfield, Bitton and McGregor have both had numerous games there and Armstrong should get a shot or even Henderson to see what they can do, Ajer too maybe in a couple of months though as hes still young. Rogic will come back i'd imagine. Lustig can be rested to give Gamboa a chance.

At least my team won.

Would be nice if Norwich would let us keep Maddison until the end of the season but I can't see it. Looked good when he came on last week and was excellent today. Easy to see why Norwich might end up having to pay £6 million for him.

Do think Gordon will probably have to move on in January to get game time as clearly Rogers isn't keen on him

Irony is that De Vries is no better then him. Strange game today. Celtic should have been down to ten men today, yet scored 2 goals in first half even though we were poor. Second half we battered Caley but couldn't score the third.

Defence needs sorted out.

Get the feeling de Vries is a stop gap measure, he is not better than Gordon other than in his passing.

Should've put the game to bed but the ICT keeper and the woodwork kept getting in the way.

But still top with a game in hand and our so called nearest rivals drop to 5th place and could drop out the top 6 next weekend.

Decent weekend all round and Sinclair becomes first Celtic player since McGrory to score in each of the opening five games of a league season.

My team only managed a draw as well. but they are in the northern league, so not really relevant here.

Disappointing to have dropped 2 points today with the amount of chances we had but the ICT keeper was superb and whilst it is only 2-1 the opposition always have a chance.

The defence needs sorted, and quickly.

As for De Vries, I don't see any improvement on Gordon. I'd play Gordon on Wednesday.

Means Rangers won't need to pay compensation.

The Sons ought to have put 3 or 4 past St Mirren yesterday, a lack of clinical finishing, from Robert Thomson up front meant otherwise.
2 points dropped for us.
For a full time side, versus part-timers, the Buddies looked awful yesterday.
St Mirren have been on a downward spiral for a good while now though & it lies deeper than Alex Rae's shortcomings as a manager.

I was amazed when they appointed Tommy Craig, that was a bizarre decision.

St Mirren could struggle to get promoted for quite a few seasons.

Incredible decision to appoint Craig as a manager, well out of his depth.
They may end up battling the drop to League 1, going by yesterday's showing.
No wonder the owners were only too glad to hand over the reins to the fans Trust for a £1m or so. Must have ran away rubbing their hands vigorously.

With neither party "making any further comment".

Yea, good luck with that.

A 4 week ban for having an argument seems rather excessive, there must be more to it which no doubt Barton will eventually spill to everyone.

I wonder if he is still getting paid? IIRC when Celtic suspended McGeady the maximum time they could suspend him without wages was 2 weeks.

Footballing wise if he isn't able to train with the team for 4 weeks he won't be match fit when the suspension ends either.

Quite convenient that his autobiography is out this week...

It'll definitely boost sales with the blanket coverage his suspension is getting on tv and radio.

Add in the CL and ICC money this financial year and we have money to invest in the team even taking into account the fall in revenue from selling players.

It stands for Fixed That For You.

Our 'friend' is claiming that the Zombies being in the league is the only reason we've sold so many season tickets.

Nothing to do with Brendan Rodgers and the 13k that turned up for his unveiling.
