That game was utter torture, I thought it was never gonna end. I think I enjoyed the last couple of minutes.

It shows how woeful Rangers are though. We were dreadful, they played really well and we still won 3-1.

Agreed Jill just home after a few drinks in walkabout and off the train it was torture, did have a whole a 2pounds bet on 3-1 at 12/1

We were very poor noticed a bit of trouble on paisley road west road towards govan after the game.

United fans were not allowed anywhere near ibrox underground

Looks like St Johnstone could have another 'May Day ' in May

Well done to st Johnstone a turn up for the book.

Let's hope they get some kind of support for the final as they don't seem to be a team that's fans turn out for on big occasions

Good to see different teams will be collecting silverwear this year, hope united win, but hopefully a good game in final.

As a united fan I wanted Aberdeen as it would have been a sell out, United will sell 25-30 thousand tickets just hope st Johnstone fans or someone turns out for them.

Aberdeen cost me my bookies coupon as well
Mark.

What's the capacity of Celtic Park with the top tiers closed off? 40,000? Even allowing for sponsors etc., that should be plenty for a United v St Johnstone final.

In yesterday's game, just before the 30th minute, did the number 6 Dundee Utd player try to boot the ball in the back off his own net?

Good to see fellow United fans here. Can't wait for the final. Was kind of hoping for St Johnstone to win as I felt we would have struggled against Aberdeen. Although the next 5 weeks I will be feeling confident to not so confident several times. Will be a tough match but hopefully a great occasion.

That's what it initially looked liked but watching the highlights I wondered if Paton tried to boot it out for a corner. Hard to tell from the angle.

Saw that earlier. Muppets, did no-one look at the sporting calendar. It would've been on the same line for Aberdeen fans too.

Don't think so, would be surprised to see Paton do that... If you said Gunning, number 5 I wouldn't have been surprised!

Scotrail site showing that some trains are still running between Dundee and Glasgow that day.

Good for Scottish Football that other teams are winning silverware, Killie couple years ago, St Mirren last year. Aberdeen for the first time in ages.

Infact the only teams I can think of in the top flight who haven't been in a cup final in recent years are Motherwell and newly promoted Partick Thistle. I think that's great stuff.

Also a note on Stevie May, I'd love to see him in a Hibs shirt. Him and Billy McKay would be nice.
Mark.

How recent is recent? Motherwell were in the 2011 Scottish Cup Final.

EDIT: well, I guess 2011 must be recent since you need to take in 2010 to include Ross County

Since 2010! Obviously missed that out

Given that Celtic won 3-0 going on 30-0, I think Motherwell did too.

Exactly

Thought I did quite well considering I was using fingers and thumbs. Didn't expect to remember so many.

Yes they are going round via fife however they won't let you split the fare as it won't be going anywhere near Perth.

So 37 return they will charge

However my route to Celtic park

Booked two returns dundee to haymarket 13.80 each

Haymarket to Motherwell return about 10.60

Motherwell to dalmarnock return about 4 quid

This way saving money on the fare, getting to the game without having to go into the centre of Glasgow

I'm surprised the 2010 final hasn't been purged from your memory banks Mark.

I was going to say to get the stopping service from Haymarket to Carntyne or Bellgrove at £12.60 return.
