With Neil Lennon walking away and Roy Keane 1/12 at the bookies for the job it looks almost a done deal. Didn't he let Jordan Rhodes go at Ipswich and then he went on to score about 100+ goals whilst Keane got the sack? The next old firm match should be pretty good anyway but with Keane fielding the questions the press conferences may be as feisty as the stands and the match.
I notice though Keane is already drifting with the bookies to be the manager. Perhaps this is as much a media story as anything else......them seizing on a "sexy" name in the running when it appears Celtic are talking to quite a number of candidates.

Owen Coyle looks to have shortened in odds with Keane drifting. Haven't seen or heard many Celtic fans jubilant that Keane is on thei radar so maybe that is filtering through to the top. Why do they have to go for someone with a connection to Celtic? It rather limits your pool of talent.

Yes, negative feedback from the fans may be a reason why speculation is cooling a little around Keane. If a so called marquee name doesn't even excite the fans, then that it is hardly a good sign. Someone like Coyle with his Premiership experience would make a lot more sense.

And the funny thing about Keane being a former Celtic player is that he didn't even enjoy his spell in Glasgow, didn't move his family there and felt lonely and homesick in the city.

Bollocks. Strachan wasn't popular due to his sarcastic comments aimed at fans when he started to get criticism. It had nothing to do with 'Celtic Minded' rubbish. Also the football in Strachan's last season was turgid.

Yeah sure, of course that is how it happened - the fact he wasn't Celtic minded is purely coincidental as to his downfall.

pretty one sided final of the SCOTTISH JUNIOR CUP, as HURLFORD UNITED win 3-0 against GLENAFTON ATHLETIC, with two pretty soft penalties and a nicely headed goal!

Seems Deila is the man Celtic are keen to appoint. Norwegian journalist claiming our first attempt has failed but Deila wants to join us.

Get the feeling this one will need to be a grower.

Could he be on his way here and celebrating already?

Delia's appointment has just been confirmed by the BBC.

Will he be another Wim Jansen? Or just another Paul le Guen?

He is a bit of an unknown quantity.

If he is successful I hope he stays longer than the one season Jansen did.

Looks terrible, as bad as the Peoples kit in the early 90s.

More like Peter Lawwell has just told him his budget.

From David Moyes talk to this guy. He'll no doubt be cheap but Lennon practically dismissed him as a number 2. He should win the league easily but Champions League is the real test.

Ironically that's why you couldn't attract a manger anyone had heard of. 1/66 to win a trophy next season, you could have had a season ticket holder raffle for the manager job and the odds wouldn't have changed. Kudos on keeping that stiff upper lip about how entertaining it is when it obviously isn't to sponsors or anyone watching.
