Give him a break Jill.

He is a Zombie.
Yes plastic Irish is the true way forward. Is there a sponsor for that top league yet? What is it about the Scottish Premiership that turns every major sponsor in the world off?

Where's the sponsor for the "only show in town" second tier?

That's the argument equivalent of "look over there!" and running off. There is no sponsor of the premiership because there is no Rangers in the league. Even the 'must see' Dundee derby isn't attracting the sponsorship. Scottish football is only watchable next season due to the Championship. Celtic appointed a guy nobody has even heard of to win the league it will be that easy.

Ah, so there's no Championship sponsor because Rangers aren't in that league (or any league) either.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Having a pop at teams playing in the Premiership when there is no sponsor of the league they proclaim as superior. You'd have to be pretty bloody stupid to do that, wouldn't you?

As Mark says, your team died. There is no come back from liquidation.

Scottish players that have been successful abroad recently?
And, no-one who is comparable with Gauld in terms of age or talent has gone abroad.

Sporting Lisbon didn't put in that £48m buy out clause for nothing.

So that would be nobody then? As for a buy out clause you actually think he's worth £48 million? Why don't you put a buy out clause of £48 million on Andrew Robertson, that means he's worth £48 million! You see how that doesn't work in the real world?

Time and time again that has been proven completely wrong. It's like telling the whole world the Scottish Premiership is brilliant, nobody believes it but you. Although you've told the lie so often even you start to believe it. There's nothing that can be done but to point and laugh at such a denial of reality.

Watch the sponsors come back next season, wonder why?

Rangers will still be stuck in the Chsnpionship. Hibs and Hearts will come up. Enjoy being stuck in 'the only show in town'.

Nobody has said the Premiership is briliant though, absolutely nobody at all.

You'd think the Utopiaship would have sponsors queueing up to sponsor it given the folk are proclaiming it as "the only show in town" yet it has no sponsor.

Any ideas when Rangers v Hibs In the Challenge Cup is likely to take place.

I assume it's likely to be some time after the 3rd August when the games finish, likewise a league cup tie will be delayed as well if they are drawn at home, there should be no need to postpone an away one but I suspect they will as well.

Is Scotland really that interested in the commonwealth games and it seems to be making the season an absolute mess at the beginning.

I assume money talks though but football fans don't seem to be interested

Just stumbled across Aberdeen on the radio playing their Europa League game already? Crikey, 3rd July. Not sure if it is on TV at all?

Yes it's the earliest ever scottish teams have had to play in Europe due to the awful results for years

I see Armageddon struck Scottish football again as Aberdeen win 5-0 in front of over 15k.

Hopefully clubs outwith Celtic can get some much needed ranking points and help Scottish clubs start their European campaigns a little bit later on.

I'm not going to any of the events as I'm away to America in October but I'd have loved to have gone to the track cycling, I've been a fan of that since Eddie Alexander in 1986, and the boxing.

So, "the only show in town" sees only the Edinburgh derbies added to Sky and BT's existing quota of Sevco games (15 + 4 = 19), while the Premiership actually gains a game, with 51 to be shown.

The channel that will show the most Championship games (you know, a TV contract that we were told was worth millions) is...BBC Alba, in glorious SD and captured on a whopping six cameras.

There was me thinking that with the huge demand for tv coverage the Utopiaship is facing they would be £14.99 on PPV.
