Before coming to the detail of the case it is worth making a preliminary observation. I have referred above to the strong feelings of many football supporters. Perhaps because of such feelings, professional football clubs are often regarded as having a special status. In some respects that may be the correct view; but it should nevertheless not be overlooked that a modern professional football club is not a “club”, in the sense of an unincorporated association of members who join together in pursuit of a common purpose, but a commercial enterprise whose function is to generate profits for its shareholders. From that perspective it has no special status, and there is no reason why its tax affairs should not be as open to scrutiny as those of any other profit-making organisation.
Looks like someone is of the opinion the team in the third tier is a new club and that the club is the company and the company is the club.I hope his name isn't revealed. |

Except for HMRC employees who will remain anonymous given the threatening and intimidating behaviour of fans of the dead club.
No doubt Supper will demand to know their names. Quote:
Judge Bishopp explained: "It is undisputed that various threats of a serious nature have been made, and that the Strathclyde Police have been compelled to offer advice and protection to several individuals involved in RFC’s affairs. Some of the threats have come from disappointed Rangers supporters; others from supporters of rival teams who have formed the opinion that RFC’s use of the EBT gave it an unfair financial advantage.

Fat Sally must be one of the not just worst but dumbest managers out there. Black betting against Sevco while playing for Sevco and him saying "I didnt have any problem with it"
![]() Imagine acknowledging you're THAT bad at managing, that you don't have a problem with one of your own players betting you to lose ![]() You wonder if Fat Sally could get past a Chippy or Greggs with any money left if he'd go into a bookies and bet against himself. Anyway, on to the Real Football. Can't predict how it will go at Tynecastle today, if we'll rest players for Milan or go full strength and if we go full strength will players play at their best or coast through the game with eyes on Milan. I can see Hearts going all out for a win, knowing we have Milan midweek they will put the boot into us thinking that none of our players want injured before Milan so they can gain the upper hand by playing rough and forcing us to pull out of challenges. If it was me id rest everyone against them. Lennon's teams have done fairly well at Tynecastle 3 of the last 4 games there we've won 4-0, 4-0 and 3-0. |

Is there a documented reason why David Goodwillie is the size of a small bungalow?

This loan deal is costing united a fortune, needs to lose about a stone even by spl standards |

Serious question - half the United team look like they could drop a stone easily. What the hell is Jackie doing with them?
There is a lot of ball work I am hearing at training, you can see aspects of that. Fitness levels don't see to be so significant. Ciftci is colossal |

Its no coincidence that we faded big time. There is no excuse for a lack of fitness. |

He is a disgrace for a professional footballer.

Not only did Milan continue their dodgy start to the season this weekend - news filtering out of Italy is that Kaka joins El Shaarawy and Montolivo on the injured list for the Celtic game.
They join Ignazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio, Matías Silvestre, Daniele Bonera and Giampaolo Pazzini. |

Couple of goals for johnny Russell for derby county tonight.
Surprised Craig Conway has been allowed to leave Cardiff to join Brighton on loan. It seems most scottish players are seen as good enough for championship football and below |

Pish, an all too familiar heroic away CL performance only to concede two flukey goals.
Ambrose and Big Virgil were immense though. |

With the required bit of extra quality in the final third we win tonight. Just do no have that x factor in the vital positions at this level.
