Celtic making the group stages and making a great fight of it would be a great accomplishment for Celtic in itself.
The money from qualification would be very welcome of course, but Celtic on current form would risk having an even worse group stage than last year's one......a team like Real Madrid would probably dish out a 7-0 or 8-0 trashing to them at the moment.

Nice to see your lot are still hurting.
You don't think it is embarrassing to go through when you have just been beaten 6-1?

I think you've spent too much time reading the UVF Bears, sorry Vanguard Bears, site.

Doncaster and Regan, along with Longmuir, did everything that they could to get the new club parachuted straight into the top divisions.
No idea what your first sentence is supposed to mean but never mind, you just stick to trying the insults - it's the Celtc way!

Rangers were shafted, they wanted them in the top leagues to protect the TV deal, pure & simple!

After they concede 10 it will be you wishing you hadn't been in it.
Glasgow Celtc - Embarrassed by nothing!

Just goes to show that Lawell runs Scottish football and now has huge influence over UEFA too!
His complaint about the three minutes this player was on the pitch when they were being hammered 6-1 just shows what a brass neck this lot actually have!
Being reinstated after getting humped 6-1 is really embarrassing. Celtic shouldn't be in the draw.
didnt celtic do same last year or year before.. i forget the team.. sion or something

cant qualify , try the backdoor

It is fantastic. Almost like it is our fault that we play by the rules and we ensure that only players who are allowed to play in a particular game play. How dare we!

No idea what your first sentence is supposed to mean but never mind, you just stick to trying the insults - it's the Celtc way!
If you don't know what it is meant to mean then how do you know it is an insult?

I obviously assumed you were more intelligent than you are.

Rangers were shafted, they wanted them in the top leagues to protect the TV deal, pure & simple!
Shafted by organisations where the heads of those organisations pleaded to let the tribute act go straight into the top league! Where there was no vote to see who replaced Rangers so the likes of Spartans or Cove were denied the opportunity to put their case forward.

You couldn't make it up. You are deluded.

A bit embarrassing all round really, that they messed up by not declaring him for all games before this, and for Celtic to go through on such a shocking performance and defeat.

But them's the rules, not celtics fault, but if i were them i'd keep my head down and just do my best.

With the way they are playing now, they could face a proper humiliation on the CL in the next round as the standards will be higher.

Abusing Lawwell, Griffiths, fighting amongst themselves and racist abuse at the Polish fans and chucking their scarves onto the pitch after being hammered 6-1. Do you reckon those people who chucked them will be sneaking back in to pick them back up?

When was the last time you posted about the tribute act?

Out of your last 30 posts on this thread?

This is the hot topic. If we went through the 22 parts of this thread how many times have you posted about Rangers or some other club? I would hope every decent football fan was hoping Celtic go out or get humped in every game in Europe to give Legia some justice.

Did you post about The Rangers game during the week against Hibs? The controversial sending off?

"Every decent football fan", I would presume, hopes their team follows the rules, Legia didn't.

I didn't see the game so didn't post. I went and looked at it there and it looked like a yellow card.

It's stooping as low as it gets getting comprehensively beat 6-1 and going through. Even Ronny Deila sounded embarrassed on the radio. The scarf chuckers will be there no doubt with a fresh one and their throwing arm limbered up.

We followed the rules and the rules were followed. Legia didn't.

The rule Legia broke could not be clearer.

Play a suspended player in a match - you lose 3-0.

Of course had Legia score one of their two penalties in the first match it wouldn't be a problem.

But none of it is Celtics fault though, it has nothing to do with them, but i agree, very embarrassing for them and the people who ballsed it up, but again not their fault, thems the rules.

What a hilarious day!
My favourite part is the rest of Scottish football fans raging about it.
The same clubs who would all benefit financially from Celtic advancing through to the Chmapions League group stages.

That aside it's a huge let off and not one Celtic initiated. The uefa delegate noticed the administrative error. The Polish club may appeal but uefa only followed there own rules in the same way they always have in these cases.

Good to see you back posting on here.

From my experience on here and elsewhere it is only fans of the tribute act who are unhappy that Legia were punished for breaking the rule

Cheers! Didn't realise I was away so long, stopped having to login as much when I stopped running the WWE prediction contest.

Good Luck to Fraser Forester at Southampton, £10m is really good business.

Hopefully the board take this break to invest in the team before the play-off.

Not confident and don't think one or two players is going to make the difference. Two league games to get our act together!

The clue is in my reply, the word "trying" is in there because I can only assume that's what you are attempting, i know I know, that's the Celtc way!

Shafted by organisations where the heads of those organisations pleaded to let the tribute act go straight into the top league! Where there was no vote to see who replaced Rangers so the likes of Spartans or Cove were denied the opportunity to put their case forward.

I have no idea what your on about again, "tribute act" sorry, you've lost me, ask the authorities!

You couldn't make it up. You are deluded.
Haha, you don't do irony, do you

You asked why I didn't post about it during the week, I said I didn't see it. I looked at the incident after your post to me and it looked like a yellow card. What do you want an in depth post about a game that finished days ago? Rangers seemingly played scrappily and won 2-1 and there was a dodgy red card, the end.

We followed the rules and the rules were followed. Legia didn't.

Every goal against you should be cheered by any decent fan.
