Celtic had no bearing on the decision to reinstate. It was UEFA's alone. If Celtic really had influence with UEFA, we would be playing in the English Premier League.

A pack of Polish skinheads were going through the pubs on Gorgie Road trying to find Celtic fans, so I don't feel that sorry for them.
As for Celtic, it may yet be a bit of a pyrrhic victory for them; even if they get to the group stage, sure they'd get paid, but can you imagine this Celtic side against one of the top 8 seeds? Still I'm all for helping the coefficient.

A game on council telly and available on iplayer yet you never even saw the goals and dodgy decision until 3 days later but you managed to see the Celtic game!

Apparently FF offered to stay for Maribor but was told he had to go to invest his transfer fee back in the squad.

It's a HUGE error the guy shouldn't have even been on the bench but they made a mistake and have been punished with a match forfeit.
The major irony is the standard punishment is the same score line that sends Celtic through.

In fact 2 of Rangers, Hearts and Hibs will not even reach the 70 points mark.

Legia Warsaw before the 2nd leg probably expected to be on the back foot for almost the whole 90 minutes and desperately trying to cling on in the end trying to avoid that 3-0 defeat.
Possibly the reason for the suspened player. Did themselves out of a great result there for not believing they could do as well as they did.
Looking forwrd to the bottom division 3 team at he end of the season facing the champions of the highland and lowland league to see which of the 3 will be playing division 3 football next season.

To think Hibs and Hearts will easily defeat Cowdenbeath and Dumbarton 3-0 5-0 or 6-1 e.g. away from home on a paddy field of a pitch on a wet and windy night in December and January is a bit of a nonsense. Dumbarton could very well draw with Hearts and Alloa could beat Hibs on such nights if they are not cast well adrift at the foot of the table.
Yes Rangers, Hearts and Hibs will probably finish the top 3 as expected. But there will be a few surprises and shocks involving the big 3 who are in the championship this season.

Just hope that this end of season play off between the top 2 leagues is a permanent thing and not just a temporary arrangement until Rangers Hearts and Hibs have all been promoted.

Hibs were playing Livingston today.
I've seen about 10 of their last 20 matches and the only one they actually looked like the better team for spells was against Rangers and even then they still looked poor.
I wouldn't class Hibs as far superior to anyone in the league and would be shocked if they brushed teams aside on even the odd occasion.

No one on here ever said they were? I wasn't in the least surprised when Hamilton won the tie, was anyone? Hibs were on a run of something like 1 win in 20 games when they played Hamilton.

Hibs beat Livingston 2-1 and Raith Rovers beat Dumbarton 3-1. The Dumbarton pitch is very good and Scotland train on it when staying at Cameron House. Cowdenbeath isn't so good but a part time team should be beaten at this level all things considered.
Rangers, Hearts and Hibs have every chance of dropping some points but they should amass a higher points total than the top 3 last year.
