A prediction in the press is solid gold you can take to the bank. No arguments. It's basically fact.

You back to a Sellick support then now that they are back on winning ways.

Poor state of affairs that Celtic have been weakened so badly, given a footballing lesson by the Poles (who only lost because of another botched job) yet still manage to look like a well oiled, well drilled footballing machine back in domestic football ...

Should be another thrilling SPL runners up race.

Just noticed the Scottish Cup got underway today.

Auchinleck Talbot 5-1 St Cuthbert Wanderers
Edinburgh City 5-0 Fort William
Glasgow Uni 1-9 Cove Rangers
Hurlford Utd 2-2 Edinburgh Uni
Lothian Thistle 3-1 Burntisland Shipyard
Newton Stewart 2-2 Hawick Royal Albert
Vale of Leithen 0-1 Gala Fairydean
Wigton & Bladnoch 1-2 Civil Service Strollers

No idea how it works are there seem to be some teams with senior status there yet some junior teams don't come in until the next round.

Yeah it's different I think this year, I was at my mates game for Lothian Thistle. It was their first ever game in Scottish Cup. Kevin Twaddle is their manager.

PS: also Lothian won 3-0 not 3-1 😜

Och, there were SPL Hearts/Hibs games that were worse than that one. The 0-0's in 2013 certainly were.

It's never usually a good game.

Another corker of an attendance at the Hamilton vs St Johnstone match. A whole 1,577 there.

Game in the championship involving the table toppers generated a massive 958 in attendance.

Just wondering, did the SPFL ever consider re-organising the leagues into 3 divisions of 14 teams?

After they have played each other twice, there would be a split with the top 7 and bottom 7 playing each other twice again (38 games for each team in total).

There were more people at the Hearts vs Hibs game than the Hamilton, Dundee, Motherwell and Ross County games put together. Much more. Hamilton are averaging crowds you would see in the English non-league. Factor in the league was practically just won by Celtic yesterday it's no wonder interest in it is in a dire state.

Hardly anything new. Smaller clubs always have poor attendances. Are you saying that if Rangers were back in the SPFL that attendances would be higher? I doubt it makes any differences when the smaller teams play each other.

Was a crap derby but still ended up with 3 goals, 2 pens ( 1 missed ) 2 red cards and Liam Craig in the tunnel.

The top league is a joke. The worst Celtic signed in my lifetime beating one of our better sides 6-1. After they get hammered of nobodies in Europe.

Hamilton, County, ICT, Motherwell and St J, although smaller clubs the attendances are embarrassing. Hearts and Hibs will take bigger away crowds to the smaller clubs in championship than some of these sides home supports. Especially Accies.

I'd say being relegated in a play-off designed to keep you up is more embarrassing, tbh.

Worse than the Celtic side that were beaten 5-1 by Neuchatel Xamax in 1991? Worse than the Celtic side who finished 4th in the league and didn't qualify for Europe in 1994? Worse than the Celtic side who won 30% of their league matches in 94-95?

At long last this Legia saga is going to be finished today.

That would end up weakening the top division even more as there would be even less money to go around.

They should have 10 times playing each other four times followed by a four team playoff whereby the winner of the league is decided by firstly 2 two- legged playoffs home and away between 1st and 4th and 2nd and 3rd before a final at Hampden Park.
