Worse than the Celtic side that were beaten 5-1 by Neuchatel Xamax in 1991? Worse than the Celtic side who finished 4th in the league and didn't qualify for Europe in 1994? Worse than the Celtic side who won 30% of their league matches in 94-95?

At long last this Legia saga is going to be finished today.
I am too young to remember those seasons, but the league is a lot weaker now it's possible, yes.

Ghanaian pacey left winger Wakaso Mubarak on the verge of joining Celtic according to Sky Sports.
On loan or buying him outright?

If a person was in first year in 1991 then they spent their formative years watching Rangers dominate domestically. No wonder they would be bitter. It explains a lot.

Legia have lost their appeal to CAS to stop Celtic playing Maribor.

It will now go to a full hearing where Legia want to be cleared of all punishments and financially compensated.

legia are lucky they're still IN european competition, only because when teams from bigger nations fielded ineligible players, they whined about it and UEFA capitulated and only gave them fines!

Today's ruling is the last one that involves Celtic - their participation in the play-offs then the group stage of either tournament is confirmed.

The best Legia can get now is a clearing of their name and compensation. But it won't happen.

What teams were they? Were the players in question suspended?

Not at all surprising IMO, good luck to Celtic as long as it's not at the expense of Arsenal.

Not sure how people are so confident Legia will get compensated, am I missing something?

They're not.

All they're saying is that's the best they can hope for.

No, it doesn't mean that at all.

Ask your dad about rubbish Celtic teams.
In the 25 years between my dad going to his first Celtic game and me going to mine Celtic won 13 league titles. In the same period Rangers won 7, Hearts 2, Aberdeen 1, Kilmarnock 1 and Dundee 1.

We also won the European Cup.

We also won a cup final 7-1 against the team who were our greatest rivals at the time.

I don't think he'd understand the question.

So after taking Blackpool from mid table to just missing out on relegation and then getting humped in the Petrofac cup with his new team, I get the suspicion someone isn't cut out for manangement.

What age were you in 1991 then? That was the original question and you answer cryptically.

Bit harsh on Ferguson. He performed a near miracle keeping that reeking Blackpool team up (look at them now) and Clyde are a poor part time team. Nobody could have coached them to a result tonight.

By 1991 I'd been going to Celtic games for around a decade.
