By 1991 I'd been going to Celtic games for around a decade.
You must have been roughly 12-13 then. You would have spent your formative years watching Rangers dominate domestically. You must have seen some poor celtic teams in the 90s but you had nothing to compare them to really.

why not talk about spot the crowd @ Ibrox, or anything about yer own team that was playing tonight !!!
It was 8-1 and the crowd was low as it was a Petrofac cup game and it was on the TV on a Monday night against a part time team.

I think he's called Snoop Lion now.

I certainly did see some terrible Celtic sides in the 90s. That is why I referred to the Neuchatel game and the season we didn't qualify for Europe. I could also have referenced signing Gary Holt and Justin Whittle, not from another football club, from the British Army.

It is bollocks to say I had nothing to compare them to though as I had been going to Celtic Park for so long before that period.

Worse than the Celtic side that were beaten 5-1 by Neuchatel Xamax in 1991? Worse than the Celtic side who finished 4th in the league and didn't qualify for Europe in 1994? Worse than the Celtic side who won 30% of their league matches in 94-95?

At long last this Legia saga is going to be finished today.
That's why I said in my lifetime? Well my earliest football memories are 97/98ish. So anything before then I can't compare or comment on.

**** off! You aren't that young are you?

Seriously though, the Celtic team I mentioned make the current squad look like Real Madrid.

You'd have been in primary school when the Souness Revolution kicked off. Can't see you having a lot of insight into how good Celtic were when you were 8 years old. The teams of the 90s when Rangers dominated were your era, not games you went to when you were 3 or 4 which you can't really class as 'going to games' anyway. How old is your dad if he was at the 7-1 game?! Sure it wasn't your grandad?

Efe Ambrose will be eligible to play tomorrow night after Celtic believed he would need to serve a one match ban.

First it was questions about me, now it is questions about my dad.

There is something a bit weird and not quite right about you.

Rangers have apparently told Queen of the South that all away teams for the rest of this season can only get 950 tickets for Ibrox on police advice (Hearts got 1700 on the 10th).

This is a little odd for a number of reasons, not least that those games aren't going to sell out, but Rangers (sorry, ahem, 'the police') want to make it harder to go to them. Guess they really don't like the away fans making more noise than the home fans that outnumber them 20-1.

The folk in charge at Ibrox would surely like to sell more tickets to away fans but the police have said no.

Not feeling so young this morning, mental night at Bellahouston Park last night.

But my earliest Celtic memories are Di Canio, Pierre VH etc: then of course the Martin O'Neill era. You were world beaters back then 😜

Di Canio and PVH were good players for Celtic, just a pity they were arseholes as people.

Brilliant gig! First time at Bellahouston, surprised how smoothly it went with shuttle buses etc:

Who is your personal favourite top 3 foreign players to play for Celtic?

Surprised Commons got through customs with all that excess baggage he is carrying - not even Celtic could hope to cash in on that overweight clown ...

That 'clown' won player of the year last year, he also scored 32 goals. Not bad for a so called 'clown'.

It is impossioble not to say Henrik Larsson, the last world class player to play in Scotland.

I'd say Andy Thom and Lubo Moravcik as well.

Notable distinctions for big Morten Weighorst as well.

If you don't say Rafael Scheidt you're lying

That's 7 home gates for Scottish Premiership Hamilton. I don't think anyone really cares about the Petrofac Training Cup on a Monday night when the game is on the TV. Although there were some nice goals in the game.
