No the problem the SPFL is how to gain more interest in the league, promotion and relegation are part of European football and having big teams go down is part of what makes it entertaining.

Great to Craig Gordon back in the Scotland squad, Mcgregor and Marshall are still ahead of him but he's a much better option than Gilks

Also happy to see Callum McGregor called up, seems to have done well this season.

Bit surprised Cairney at Blackburn wasn't called up as he's started the season in fine form.

Still too many championship players in the Scotland squad.

I suppose this is where it starts for strachan good results when it didn't matter, let's see how we do when it does matter.

Most of the old guard will probably still start.

Darren Fletcher is finished but he will still start the way the selection process works

Think we will get an absolute hiding in Dortmund but this result won't determine where we finish in the group

Hibs have not been in the top 6 for years.

Motherwell, Celtic, dundee united , st Johnstone , Inverness are always there
Hibs so far seem like they are one of the other 8 of the championship rather than performing like one of the big 3 there. They aren't bouncing straight back versus the other 7 in the championship, so far anyway.

Hopefully the The Rangers fans who was attacked by his own support and then arrested for breach of the peace for the hideous crime of flying a Palestine flag at Ibrox is out of police cells by now.

Why is that a problem? The English championship is of a higher level than the SPFL.

I meant to respond to this yesterday but forgot.

I think it is way way too soon for him to be in the Scotland squad. He has only played a handful of matches for Celtic and I don't think he is ready for international football yet.

Reports are he was one of your own.

I'm surprised you aren't claiming he was a Chelsea/Ipswich/Manchester City/Stockport County fan.

That is what normally happens when trouble occurs and a team based at Ibrox is involved.

Both of them seem quite confused individuals judging by their twitter accounts. Getting chinned off a 70 year old and hiding in the ticket office was what I heard. As for trouble at games I think if you see what happened to Nir Biton just for mentioning Israel then a flag of Israel being unfurled at one of Celtic's games would end the same or worse.

Is that your best comeback?

What about Celtic fans?

Is that really it?

Can you not respond without resorting to whataboutery?

Don't try and pretend if a Rangers fan unfurled an Israel flag in Celtic park there wouldn't be a scrap or two. Folk were wanting Nir Biton hounded out for posting a picture. Attention seeking saddos getting filled in by an old man at the football is hardly crime of the century.

I notice a QPR fan was ejected at Spurs at the weekend for the very same "offence" ...

On a different note I see ITV4 are putting all their strength into Celtic's push for Euro glory - what a slap in the face that is from ITV right from the get-go.

You unfurl an Israel flag at the next Celtic home game to test my theory out. I'll look out for you on the news.

Rangers and what goes on at Ibrox again the hot topics, I see. This is getting a little disturbing.

Rumours of Craig Gordon being injured unfounded - starts for Celtic.

He's a good keeper, unlucky with injuries. Not bad piece of business flogging Forster and having Gordon come in if he can stay injury free.
