A good win for Scotland. Not absolutely wonderful but we were well worth the win.

The Poland result wasn't good for us - or ROI.

You know it might not be so bad - we play Germany in the 3rd last game and that was always going to be a "live" game for both teams, at least now Germany might not have 2 dead rubbers after they play us.

If we can take something from the Poland game it will have been a fruitful week for us ...

A point across in poland will be fine I do feel top two would be looking doubtful should we lose.

Knowing our luck we will get third and get a big name who has struggled as a few big names seem to be

Strange only caught the last 10 minutes - is Robertson carrying some sort of injury as this big wide open pitch is made for his power running???

Good point away from home. This group could go any way. Nice to have Poland and Germany away out the way

Ah well a point will do nicely - I thought we let the Poles back into that and if we truly want to do anything we need to get away from that siege mentality that we think we are so good at ...

Next game is a real must win and the fixtures don't look as if they have done us any favours as we look as if we will be playing catch up the whole campaign.

Yes it's must win as a draw we will stay fourth and still be chasing our tails .

Head to head results first between two teams on same points I think

Still can't believe Strachan went without Robertson - seem to remember he also subbed him in the game against Nigeria when he was easily our best player. Real head scratcher that night and again tonight ... especially when you consider that Whittaker has never been renowned for being great defensively.

Strachan seems to have players who won't be dropped whatever the circumstances but surprisingly Robertson not in that category.

Ireland will be tough the british type atmosphere of the game and the huge "away" following at celtic park as well.

As long as we stay competitive in the group that's great but to do that I think it's must win already this game

Good result for us.

Bit unfortunate that ROI got a good result as well.

Let's not forget Ireland started against Georgia and Gibraltar. Group could still go anyway, and Germany are certainly not certainties to qualify!!

Still can't get over how tough out group is, especially when you compare it to the other home nations (England and n. Ireland in particular)

Yes but we have done nothing in groups for years so it's only to be expected

Hutton had one of the worst Scotland performances I've seen tonight. I was really surprised as he's normally steady. Nae tonight

No. If Hampden were available, it would have been there in the first place.

It's at Celtic Park because it's the biggest stadium. I'm not sure why there's a perception of it being a home tie; it's not the colour of the seats that count, it's the fans sitting in them.

It's more than just dismantling it.

The track was laid on top of concrete which in turn is on top of panels supported by pillars. The pitch was completely ripped-up and eight rows of seats were removed.

There was a lot more went into Hampden's transformation than just putting a track in place of a pitch.

Sevco continue their pettiness by refusing to provide data for the BBC Cost of Football study - the only club in the 11 UK leagues featured.

Thought it was an excellent result for ROI in Georgia. If we win 2-1 over there I'll be delighted.

Anya seems to play so much better for you than he does for us!

Just more comfortable with your system and tactics whereas with us he is used as a wing back and our style is to pass the ball around for ages without getting anywhere at times.

Maybe your manager will take something from how we've used him?
