If it's rented it could have been taken back when we moved to the town we live in now we lived in a rented house for a year just after we moved out we found out it was mortgaged to hell and they hadn't paid and lost it if we had still have been there would would have had to move quick.

She rented a semi detached house but had to move out because it was deemed unsafe to be living in.

Long story short the neighbours were a bit scummy and had a rat infestation but despite being ordered by the council to sort it out and keep food out of their house, they actively encouraged the rats by feeding them more. Eventually they chewed through to this girls house and the house was condemned.

The girl and her partner were allowed a few hours to grab what they could, but by then most of it was covered in rat urine/faeces so they were only able to get a few bag fulls of items that could be cleaned. All the wires in the house had been destroyed which is the main reason they couldnt live there anymore, so they were homeless.

Ah, understood. (But I wish I never asked)

Our local buy and sell pages are full of chancers ,beggars and scammers.

A colleague of mine is always posting pics of her children with a caption saying 'what a character' or 'mad' etc as though only her children do funny things. The latest tonight is a pic of the two of them upside down on her settee with a comment saying 'Only in the Brady household!'. I swear she thinks everyone else has boring children who sit like robots and she is the lucky chosen one to have been bestowed with children who have a personality!

On the sad case of the Bristol lady

I take it this poster didn't enjoy many school dinners.

"I find it absolutely amazing how people that DONT WORK!! Manage to buy everything they want and especially at Christmas! !! I find it absolutely ****ing horrendous how they do this!! This makes my head and my heart hurt. Fave bit? The capitalise EARNT- so much wrong.

I know a woman who puts those up. They're annoying enough anyway, but she will quite regularly have an afternoon sleep too and lets people know about it, so the total of sleeps doesn't even add up anyway.

I look forward to Christmas as much as anyone but those statutes are pathetic for anyone over 5. You've got advent calendars that do the same job anyway.

Plus people who work nights are usually one less than the total and Olympians probably double it.

'Can't sleep' updates are annoying too. Of course you won't sleep if you're overstimulating your brain late at night by looking at your phone!

It's the bloody "sleeps" that gets me. Being excited for Christmas is one thing, but if you feel the need to share it, at least do it in a way that's appropriate for your age.

Countdown lady on my Facebook isn't counting down for Christmas. Maybe she's permanently on the naughty list for wishing her life away in Facebook statuses.

Drama from a friend of a friend. Apparently she popped to her mums and when she got home her dog was running down the street and she had been burgled! Amazingly her boyfriend slept through the whole thing.

Cue about 15 posts along the lines of "aww hun" "f*****g scum" "what did they take?" Etc and then after that every comment is slagging the boyfriend off. One person called him a c*** and recommended the girl chuck him out, one suspected him of arranging the theft and the rest are all calling for his blood.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out!

Now it's coming up to Christmas I've seen a number of people sharing those stupid pictures that say stuff like "Dear Santa, I don't want a PS4 or an iPad or lots of presents, I just want all the soldiers to come home/an end to child abuse/a healthy family". You can then guarantee that come xmas day they'll be posting pictures of loads of presents and banging on about what they've got. Always tempted to refer them to their earlier post and ask if they're giving all the presents away seeing as they didn't actually want them.

Those Andy Tate and 'My name's Jeff' vines that always seem to be on my newsfeed are getting annoying now. They can occasionally be funny, but it's just gone into overkill now.

I love 22 Jump Street, and the 'My name's Jeff' line in that is still really funny. But I don't see why it's become a viral hit now when the film's been out since the summer. Plus, that very line was in the film's trailer too, and that was released in spring.

Sounds like a woman I know. Funny thing Is a lot of people were probably saying the same about her during the 8 years she was unemployed Now she is working 30 hours a week you'd think the whole of the welfare budget is being paid by her the way she rants on. Funny how hypocritical people can be sometimes.

And it begins. All those people will be posting pictures of hundreds of presents today. I've bought my child a hundred presents. Therefore our child is more loved than yours

Usual baby bore status every year....what time does Next sale start tomoz? Gotta get in the queue for my lil darlings at 3am boxing day morning.

Today's irritants

- Scores of pictures of kids opening presents. In most case toy 'mountains' they look completely bewildered by.

- Pictures of plates of Christmas dinner. Seen one plate of turkey dinner seen them all

This Gem just appeared on my feed:
