I'd really like to know.
Can you tell I'm pissed off with FB? My irritation levels have reached epic proportions lately. It may be time to switch it off.”
I deleted my Facebook about a year ago and after the initial first few weeks of not using it I was fine. Trying to get out of the habit of clicking the app to scroll mindlessly down the wall was hard.
When I first joined Facebook it was interesting and people were putting up funny things that happened to them and interesting stories and pictures of interesting things. Now it's a boast fest with girls and guys just taking constant pictures of themselves at various angles and putting up bullshit stories to make themselves sound good. I got fed up of watching and listening to the crap so I deleted my account.
A couple of months ago I went back on because someone I know had died and I wanted to see what everyone was saying about it and it was as if I had never logged off, the same people still posting the same pictures in different outfits and the same status's from the same attention seekers.
It's the same with Instagram. When I signed up years ago there were funky pictures and they were creative and fun and now my page is filled with the same crap and passive aggressive crap that's on Facebook. And because it has filters there's 5 different versions of the same girl with a duck pout and a really bad contouring job.
