It seems to be the same with all the pyramid schemes. Tell everyone there is a better way. Post a picture of yourself with a glass of wine and laptop and comment how you are earning your fortune whilst "working at home" .

I know someone who was trying to peddle the my daily choice health sprays for the last 12 Months. I think they have finally seen the light and now their other team members are turning on them, accusing them of failing because they had not put enough effort into the business.

Please tell me it didn't get any "likes".

I recently accepted a friend request from someone I went to school with. The first message I got was

"Hey friend, are you interested in losing weight and feeling great". " Maybe earning a second income?"

Looked like you made money by getting people to use some sort of weight loss wrap. Or rather getting other people to sell them.

I hate the one doing the rounds at the moment...
I know what cancer and treatment can do to a body and mind as I've watched the transformation. I sometimes wonder if the treatment is worth it in the long haul.
With a heavy heart today especially. Nothing is more painful than watching someone at the end of their life because of cancer. Trying to look good, but after chemo and radiation you know the person is physically changed and they're in shock. I know many of you do not give a hoot about this message because, of course, the cancer has not touched you. You do not know what it's like to have fought the fight or had a loved one who leads a battle against cancer. For all the men and women I know, I ask you a small favor and only some of you will do it. If you know someone who has led a battle against cancer, still struggling or who passed, please add this to your status for one hour as a mark of support, respect and remembrance. Copy and paste to support those affected by cancer. From your phone or tablet, hold your finger on the message to copy and paste on your page💕💕
I find it insensitive and badly worded

Sounds like they're having you on or their account has been hacked.

Someone announcing their 7 year old boy is now to be referred to as a girl...

A girl on my friends list who has been married for the past 7 years and has two kids has now gone and changed her relationship status to "single".
Cue loads of messages like "Are you OK? " and "Phone me chick" and countless love hearts.

Using the breakdown of your marriage to get attention on Facebook. Shameless.

Probably just had a row and it'll be back to 'me and my bae' photos in the next couple of days with the victory finger signal and the trout pout selfies.

Some people share things like this and they don't even know anyone with the illness or have it themselves

My mum keeps posting loads of sentimental "for those in heaven" type posts, it can be up to 3 a day. I'm starting to regret introducing her to facebook.

Im quite sure everyone knows someone with cancer close to them, but what the hell does posting some shite on FB make a difference? Except to make them feel better. Also if everybody was to take the same view as treatment is futile then nobody would fight and survive. Ridiculous post

Wow I've just re-read your post - was it even her own child? I mean, who was in the pic? The bereaved mum or your acquaintance?”

It honestly beggared belief, I was horrified!
Just to clarify, the post was made by the auntie of the dead child and the photo was of her (the auntie, sister of the dead child's mother) and the baby, swaddled in a blanket and facing the camera.

Distasteful in the extreme.

Damn it - I was hoping I wasn't right. It's one thing to show a pic of the mum and child, but the auntie herself?? Attention seeking to the extreme. Disgusting. I'm sorry you had to see that.

This has been annoying the bejeezus out of me for a couple of days now... HowEVer, today, along comes this little gem of self absorbed self promotion and self congratulation...

"I'm beautiful the way I am" CHALLENGE
It's that time of year again. SO... upload 5 or more photos of your self that you feel most beautiful!!!! Then nominate at least 15 gorgeous girls that you think are beautiful to do the same.. build yourself up ... not down!! Lets see all that beauty!!! There will be a clean copy in my comments x. I nominate... "

You can guess the type of heavily made up, heavily filtered and oddly angled photos that have made the grade....

My latest bilge from my resident Britain First braindead 'friend':

Quote:
“SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT ...

If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 yrs. hard labour. If you cross the Afghanistan border illegally, you get shot. Two Americans just got eight years for crossing the Iranian border. If you cross the U. K. border illegally you get a job, a drivers license, food stamps, a place to live, health care, housing & child benefits, education, & a tax free business for 7 yrs ...

No wonder we are a country in debt. Re-post if you agree”

I don't know quite where to start picking apart this rot, so I didn't bother. What's worse is that it's just a copy & paste of something that originated in the US with a couple of the words adjusted for English spelling but still talks about food stamps, the UK border and Americans crossing Iranian border.
