YES this is my pet hate, I genuinely don't understand why the minions have to be dragged into the stupid, smug quote

Facebook live. Now instead of people telling you what they have had for breakfast. They can broadcast it live.
I have a girl on my Facebook and I had about 5 notifications that she was live every day before I changed my settings.
Broadcasting live from her bed, getting up in the morning. Then I had her broadcasting the breakfast her bae made her. Then we were treated to her walking her dog..live.

Everyone is now a die hard Leonard Cohen fan.

Has anyone else come across those bizarre ones which start off something about a Facebook cull (I must be in a minority who doesn't feel the need to broadcast the fact that I'm deleting people?) and then something about cancer awareness?

I'd rather people would post something about rare, barely known disease too. I've got 2 and have posted once or twice about them. Tend not to post about them because to me it scream "poor me".

To be fair, I googled his songs when he died and was very surprised that I knew and loved a lot of his stuff. Didn't realise it was him, I suspect it was the same for others as well.

Someone on my friends list has started doing FB Live videos and after them, moans that no-one watches them. Well DUH!!!!! You're boring mate. No-one gives a shit that you're live-streaming making your dinner!!!

People tagging friends in NZ in public statuses asking if they're okay. Seems a bit like 'Oh, look at me, I've got friends in NZ'

Why not just private message them?

The thing that annoys me about Facebook at the minute is the amount of people who turn Armistice into a pissing contest of "I'm remembering harder than you". Lots of photos of random old Veterans with quotes like "this photo has been up for SIX HOURS and hasn't got one like. Like and share this photo, I know who will etc....". Don't get me wrong, of course Remembrance is a great thing and I support it wholeheartedly, but there's something about it that brings the Al Murray Pub Landlord out in some people.

I hate passive aggressive posts like that on facebook, no matter what the subject. Even if it is something I feel strongly about I won't like or give any attention so anything that say "I bet no-one will like this" or "lets see how many likes this [veteran/ill child/something else to pull the heartstrings] will get". Maybe that makes me a heartless cow but so be it

Last night I saw a story a friend had posted about a teenage girl being attacked by someone in a van. The person had then tagged their own teenage daughter then her husband came on to tell said daughter 'this is why your mum and I don't let you out at night'. Why not talk to your daughter in the house like normal people?

On the same thread someone had put 'why would anyone attack a 15 year old girl'. Eh, because they are a sex offender and that's what they do?
