Yep, I've had this one too recently.

At least those annoying "she cuts the top off a carrot and you'll never believe what happens next" idiot videos have stopped!!!

One I've seen a lot the last few months is a bad picture that has a caption on it like "These are the people that will get drunk tonight" and then it's a list of (usually) really common first names. Then people whose names are on the list repost and tag other people who are named on there too, as if it's some great scientific discovery.

No, it's just a bunch of random names some random person has put together, and your common name happens to be on there.

They're quite ingenious if you look at them as a way of getting shares really.

One of my relatives is moaning again about having to wait at a&e. She took her child there after getting no joy from the GP. So tempting to ask if she knows really what a&e is for.

Waiting for a status whinging about the wait...

One of my pet hates. If I was rushing a child to A & E, the last thing on my mind would be posting it on FB !

I have a friend who is similar. Always tagged at doctors/hospitals. Constantly moaning about her useless GP who 'no's nuffin' and 'fumin' she has been sent home when 'she knows best'.
The last time I commented that yes her treatment sounded absolutely terrible at the hands of the NHS and that she should 100% go private and make sure her concerns were taken seriously. Soon stopped slagging the NHS when she realised the alternative is to pay.
Btw I think the NHS dose a great job!

I've had a few get really excited because their names are on there Do they not realise that it is FB going through your posts?

On another note ... I'm finding it quite scary that a lot of people believe that the animals in the John Lewis ad are real

Also the ones who you know are having a private conversation and are in the same house. PM or talk to each other !!

That's a whole other strand of annoyance that it's probably too late to get into now!!

The relative of mine who posted that, has done it before.

They always seem to be at the doctors with some minor medical problem too and always moan that they're not being taken seriously.

I've just checked my local hospital It has 14000 check ins!

My cousin probably accounts for half of them though. She is always down there for stuff she really doesn't need to go there for. And then complains she had to wait 4 hours to be seen for a cut finger.

She is the same for the doctors. She's furious because her son has not been diagnosed with adhd. I'd guess most people would be happy but not her.
Of course his bad behaviour has nothing to do with being allowed to stay up to 11.30 every night playing computer games.

Why not talk to your daughter in the house like normal people?

On the same thread someone had put 'why would anyone attack a 15 year old girl'. Eh, because they are a sex offender and that's what they do? ”

bib - they probably do if they are saying 'this is why we won't let you out at night'. She probably pays more attention if it's on her Facebook rather than in person, plus a scary video does no harm whatsoever

The relative of mine I posted about earlier, said last night she was going to her child to A&E today because she's complaining of pain again. Well, if it can wait, it's not exactly an emergency, is it? Anyway, someone suggested the out of hours doctors service and she's moaning about the wait.

my son and daughter in law used to have full on rows by facebook status when they were younger, i used to sit HOWLING with mirth because i knew they`d be in silence, furiously updating their statuses from the same room.

It would've given her more benefits and an excuse for his bad behaviour other than her parenting.

I get a lot of the "share this is and sign this petition if you agree that <insert cause in here>".
I agree and sympathise with many of the causes, of course. I just get annoyed by the over zealous nature of the sharing of every petition there is known to mankind.

And 'share this if you have a heart'. No.

Anyone know why people are posting today "I've just found a squirrel in my car" I don't know what it means but a few have posted it today

I'm sure it's probably been posted before but... the "I love my son" or "I love my grandchildren" sorts of posts really baffle me.

Surely these things should be taken as read.... and I'm not sure if anyone who did hate their grandchild or son would take to Facebook in order to announce it.

My son would probably disown me if I posted something like that.
