If you have yours set up to allow non friends to follow you, you will have a number of friends and a number of followers.
If one of your followers, who isn't also on your friend list unfollows you, then you will know 'someone' unfollowed you. You'd have to through your followers to find that out.
However, if you're talking about friends unfollowing you, but remaining on your friend list, then no, you'll never know.

With Instagram and Twitter set up to allow posts on either to automatically be uploaded to your facebook feed, it's of the attitude to get as much 'social media attention' as possible, rather than using Facebook to keep in contact with friends and family.

Any status using the phrase 'throwing shade' is annoying. I tend to find its the same people who like selfie sticks and would be described as 'burnt sienna' in a police report.

I can't help but have an affection for the term throwing shade but can understand why it would annoy others, don't think I'd be described as burnt sienna though far from it
