I will say I have a picture of my holding my stillborn on fb, its heavily edited though so unless you look properly it just looks like a sketch of me. I wouldn't post any others up as they are quite distressing to others, but I guess I just needed one photo to show off my baby like any other proud mother
I can understand that, absolutely. He was still your baby, and a son, grandson and brother. I hope your family are coping ok.

One of the worst things I seen about that page was someone mentioning people that were having trouble/couldn't have kids being "subjected" to dead ones!

I have been trying for over 5 years and if someone I know has suffered a loss etc, and doesn't mind showing off their baby, then I don't mind seeing it. That is still their child.

And you should do Noo. I wish there wasn't such a stigma attached to still birth in this country. Sending you lots of love.
Thankyou. I think there's such a stigma because it's all too unnatural, you should never have to bury a child. Saying that, I wouldn't post pictures of my dead grandad on his coffin on Facebook though, so perhaps I have double standards

I think it's different when it's a child, it's the whole potential of that life that's been lost I suppose.

It is sites like and their sometimes false allegations that directly led to the death of an innocent man and this weeks court case.
I'm expecting more of this tonight.

They'll be out 'trick or treating'.
If you don't give them a treat, they'll be updating Facebook with "the person at X is a dirty paedo".

I agree it's going too far. Last year, after not giving into their blackmailing demands, a 15 year old female trick or treater cut themselves quite badly taking a knife to my beautifully crafted pumpkin display.

After contacting a solicitor to pre-empt any 'compo claims' that might be heading my way, I told them about her injury and I was advised to take a photo of her gash.

Yet I'm the one who ends up in court ....

!!!

"dem fireworks wer piss poor fank **** i stayed in and wacthed em frm the garden"

I think the gist of this is "My goodness, the fireworks were disappointing. I'm glad I didn't go and instead watched from my garden."

One of my friends just shared one of those "1 like= this or that, ignore if you have no heart" pictures. Normally they don't bother me but this one is a close up picture of a dead baby.

I think those are the types of photos that people should be asked if they want to see and not forced upon anyone, there is no telling the way people will react.

A woman I know, who I used to work with, only posts on her Facebook when she is roaring drunk. Hence days without anything, then intermittent bursts of the most cloying shite imaginable.

"I will alwayz luv u Peter!"
"Our time together wos the best Peter!!!"
"We will meet agen sum day Peter!!!! U no its true!!!"

Peter isn't dead, by the way, he just buggered off and left her.

I had to unfriend a woman who claimed to love animals, but had got into the habit of posting the most awful pictures of dead animals I've probably ever seen. I didn't really know her, just added her when she posted some things I liked a few years ago. I think she's going barmy.

I've got someone similar:

"Love my Sam and Sian, missing my Sam and Sian" and now includes "with my Sam and Sian" at the end of every status.

The "running commentary on my life" friend does me in. "At Costa coffee".."on the train going from platform 1"..checking in everywhere. She's off on holiday and is giving a running commentary of the day's events including photos of dinner and a train station in case you didn't know how one looks. Just participate in your holiday and stop deluding yourself that you are some kind of Monarch on a tour!!

I almost had a heart attack yesterday when I saw a whole load of "I'm gonna miss Peter so much" "Gone but not forgotten" "my favourite memory, so sad there won't be anymore".

Turns out Peter is going travelling for 3 months and is not dead as I suspected.

Dear Santa, this year for Christmas I would like an ipod, some money, a new laptop, a tv.....no wait, forget that.

Get in your sleigh, go to Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and get all the soldiers......and bring them home. They deserve to be with their families this Christmas. Share this to show some respect for the soldiers who won't be coming home this Christmas. If you don't share, I understand. You can't spend 6 seconds of your life to support our soldiers.
This actually makes me want to punch something

Another god awful like and share crap story.

Its the most far fetched tale of a kid buying a doll and a white rose to give to his dying mom so she can take the doll to heaven for his dead sister. Its completely the most ridiculous thing ive ever read, about how a shopper was so distraught about his story that she went to the funeral and found out in the paper that the mum and sister were killed in a car crash by a drink driver. Obviously you have to copy and paste it otherwise you approve of drink driving.

And just incase you dont, they have helpfully attached a graphic photo of a smashed up car with blood all over the road and what looks like a body bag.

It has hundreds of comments about how everyone is crying their eyes out at it! As if.

If anyone else sees it and is on a computer i would love to know if you can do a google search and find that image anywhere else online. I think the story is complete bull but everyone seems to be going crazy about it.

I haven't seen it but if you upload the image (or put in the URL) here...

http://tineye.com/

It will tell you where the image appears on the web.

As for the story...

I don't even bother clicking on this sort of sentimental claptrap and 99.999999999% is complete bull**** made up for shares and likes.

So much better story if the teller had given the little boy money for the doll and the white rose, and had found him spending it all on White Lightning five minutes later.
