I don't think I could cope with having someone like that as a FB friend... in case anyone thought they were a friend in real life. I'd hate having to explain that away!

I have my friends privacy set up so that my friends can only see mutual friends so anyone who can see her on my friend list also has her as a friend on theirs so they can't really say anything lol

Also the 5 or 6 people who are worthy of reposting on here are in a special list so I have to click it to see their posts so their drivel doesn't soil my main news feed

I feel kind of bad, but reading all her first posts, and then getting to the BIB....that made me laugh!

I have friends like that who I had no choice but to accept as they're work mates, so declining or blocking would have caused all sorts of political fallout. However when I get a new job in the new year..... hee hee. Excellent *wiggles hands*

Im fed up of all the nelson mandela statuses! A couple i can understand but im getting everyone, even people who i dont think know who he was, putting quotes of his. Most of them are the same.

Its as if as soon as the news broke, everyone took to facebook to write rip nelson mandela, then immediately wikipedia or google for a list of his most famous quotes. It looks like they are all trying to out do each other by giving the impression that they know these quotes off by heart!

I find the "my thoughts are with the family" ones particularly pathetic unless they are personal friends of course (which they obviously are not)

I know he was a great man but some of my friends have gone way ott. Ive never ever heard them mention him before but now theres comments like "the greatest man to have ever lived has sadly passed away" "my one true hero..." And "the world will never be the same again".

Now im not being rude but hes not exactly done anything significant since hes been ill. When we found out he was ill we all knew he would die so its not like its a shock. Sad yes, but the way my friends are acting they all expected him to make a full recovery and go back to how he was decades ago!

I can just imagine someone sat on photoshop not churning out all the pictures of NM with inspirational quotes.
