!!!! That's a cool change as you say, but ouch, poor family finding out that way. Not on,
I feel mean, but getting fed up with the Nelson Mandela grieving now. I have a lot of South Africans on mine, so obviously their statuses are genuine as it is very important to them, but getting really fed up with the "omg, rip mandela" type statuses. I'm not saying the man wasn't inspirational in many ways and he was certainly an important figure, but I do wonder how many of these people actually thought about him and what he did whilst he was alive?
Now for my own contribution. I'm pregnant as mentioned before and although it isn't a secret, I haven't posted an announcement on Facebook, a scan picture, any updates or anything. If you were to read my wall, you may figure it out from messages my friends have left, but you wouldn't know for sure as the pregnancy word has never been mentioned. I just didn't feel the need to make it public on FB. But fuming at a "friend" this morning. This was the same girl who said I must be hormonal after I blogged about the FB status updates.
Today she has commented on my status with:
Omg, pregnancy hormones hun! Calm down.
AUUUUUGH!
1) This was in response to posting about advising people not to fall for the shopping voucher scams. How does that make me hormonal?
2) I would be posting it if not pregnant. My opinions aren't due to the fact I'm hormonal.
3) Calling a pregnant woman hormonal is offensive. Especially when you have two kids yourself, although she is one of those people who thinks she knows it all as she's already got 2 kids.
4) And it's her place to basically tell people I'm pregnant...why?

However, if you're not making your pregnancy a secret, then her using the P word isn't that bad, I think. I don't know, though - that's just what I feel. If you've asked everyone to be discreet and she ignored that, then I'd be annoyed with her.
