Hahahah, no, especially if it's factually correct

Maybe in the spirit of this thread I should accompany my post with a self-pitying, attention-seeking pic of me topless.

Oh, there's that self-respect I dropped down the back of the sofa.

Could she not afford Newcastle?

I joke. Sunderland's lovely. Really. Not the sort of place I'd go for a holiday but, there you go, different strokes and all that.

Just usual passive-aggressive shit. *willing her on*

And suddenly lots of pics of her son & how much she loves him, where before there were zero and she virtually pretended not to have one.

[quote=Tt88;70235172]This is one of my favourites. Basically a male friend of mine started seeing a girl about 5 years ago so she became a friend of ours too. They had an on off relationship for about 4 years. We kind of drifted apart from them both lately so only really have the odd chat online, so i was shocked to find out they had split for good lately.

Then the bloke got a new gf and started writing silly ott statuses about how he was so happy with the new girl etc. the very next day the girl did the same and started writing cryptic statuses about her new bloke. This went on for about two weeks, them one upping each other about who was in the best relationship.
QUOTE]

Oh yes!! This reminds me of a couple we knew who divorced a couple of years ago and found new partners quite soon after separating. For a long time they would compete and outdo each other with their statuses – so one week the husband would post “X has spent a wonderful weekend with his gorgeous new girlfriend,” then the following week the wife would say “Y has spent a wonderful weekend with her gorgeous new boyfriend,” etc.

The statuses would be too similar to be coincidental. It was like the more they did it, the less convinced I was they were over each other!

I love this thread, by the way!!

Maddie is 5, the mother is 25. Her daughter probably has a better command of English than she does.

this is a bit more depressing and I'm not sure what to do.

1 of my FB friends is admittedly ridiculously lovey dovey with her fiance - and a bit dim - but harmless. They keep posting about "the flat of love", they're getting married next year so they refer to "the engaged wedding of love", "the ring of love", "the holiday of love" etc. - and yes, it's all a wee bit *barf* but as I've said, they're harmless. And I actually thought it was genuine until tonight.

Fiance has been "liking" her best mate, who's attached - a lot, particularly saucy pics of hers which she likes to post on FB. It now appears he's been privately messaging her too, and she has asked a rather indiscreet friend - by the way, we're linked through work, hence the gossipy nature of all of this, and no, I'm not proud - for advice, as he's been messaging her in a very sleazy and saucy way. Alas this "mate" has been blabbing to all and sundry about this, bar her.

They're best mates. She is going to be gutted beyond belief. And yes, some may say "serves her right" but she's so loved up right now. And he is a massive sleazebag. However she should do the best mate thing and come clean with her. I am a distant acquaintance/FB friend, so if I say anything, I'm going to look like a horrible trouble-causing, lying cow, right?

Obviously if we were very close friends, I would of course tell all and risk a fall out, but in this position I don't think it's my place. Or is it?

If that was a reference to his name then you can re-use that joke if Minnie Driver dies in a walking accident.

If it was a reference to him being in a car crash when he made films about cars then ignore the above.

"This is our new puppy marley omg he's so cute"

What's annoying is that this silly girl got rid of her last dog only a few minths ago because she couldnt cope. And after Christmas when this one has grown up, she will probably do the same ti this one.

Yup, I have one of them too who goes on about "nkd snuggles with ma man" and then has a massive row with him a week later. Oh, and she keeps quoting shitty r'n'b "sexi" lyrics.

She'll have a ball with the new R Kelly album then, Google the lyrics, they're bloody hilarious (if extremely misogynistic). "Marry The Pussy" is my personal favourite

Blimey, that's nasty, and a tough one for you. I hate to say it but no, it's not for you to say. Folk are sleazebags unfortunately, men and women. Some might say she deserves it? Well those, "some" would be pretty horrid creatures, just because she posts daft lovey-dovey things.

Yeah, and I'm not one of the some. As I say, she's daft and the "of love" joke wears a bit thin at times but harmless and a sweet girl, it's not nice what he's doing.

But I don't know them very well and I'm so non-close to them that I'll be accused of being the evil shit stirrer.

As I've said, if they were close friends, I wouldn't be typing here about it and would be straight down hers right now giving her the lowdown. Just so that we're all straight on my moral compass here

What a cock. They're due to get married in a few months too

Maybe you're her in disguise rach hahaha. She's bloody unreal, god knows why she ended up on my friends list in the first place. Thank god she's not anymore, I only follow her on Twitter as she's a textbook car-crash Tweeter
