Because she neglects actually looking after it, preferring to write about it on Facebook instead, she's surprised it actually made it to 2?

I have the most attention seeking person who daily has status' such as "omg" or "ffs" or "can't stop crying" "I feel so low" etc. Noone ever comments anymore as it is all the time and often followed minutes later by a comment on big brother or the weather :-/ she claims to be a Jehovah's Witness, but is also bisexual and regularly posting about being drunk. She is also a member of the EDL! And yes I would love to unfriend her but I have to see her everyday and she has been known to confront people who do this (I'm too scared lol)

I have this problem too with people I work with, so the easy fix was to unfollow them (removes them from your feed and they don't know about it) and also make them an acquaintance (again, they don't know about it, but it limits what they can see and do on your pages too). That way they can be happy thinking they have 10,000 followers when in actual fact no one reads their crap.

One of the usual attention seekers who doesn't tend to get much attention.

"Hurt my foot"
Checks in at A&E
Posts photo of bandaged leg last night "It may be broken, waiting for results of x-ray"
Posts another photo of bandaged leg this morning "the bandage held overnight"
Posts status "will find out Wednesday if I broke my foot or not"
Posts another status "sooooooooo bored already"

Maybe I am being cynical, but I have broken umpteen bones in ny body and the doctor has diagnosed my fracture within seconds of looking at the x-ray. It's obvious it's just only a sprain and attention seeker is milking it for all its worth. I just feel sorry for her boyfriend who gets tagged in every status she makes and who has been getting her wedding dress excitement updates for the last 9 months.

Erm no! Your 5yo daughter is doing a sexual dance and you think it's cute?!?!?!

The other day I saw someone share a link about a story about a man who killed him self because his picture had been posted in one of those posts accusing someone of a crime and he was abused because of it. I was so tempted to comment asking if she would think about that the next time she shares one of those posts.

Yeah, there is no way on Earth it would take more than about 20 seconds for a doctor to diagnose a broken foot with an X-Ray. That includes time for double checking.

There's a video going round just now on mine which has a woman fighting back against her abusive husband. It looks like it's been set up as someone is just recording the whole thing on what I presume has the technological ability of a bag of grapes as the quality is that bad. It looks like the two men she is beating up are just standing waiting for their turn. Not only that but if it was real then you'd surely expect an abusive husband to fight back and not just take a few slaps and then remain sitting on the couch while the woman starts attacking his brother?

It's things like this that wind me up. Out there somewhere there are real cases of domestic abuse and people focus only on these fake things on Facebook, thinking they have done their bit by "liking and sharing" in order to get 10,000 views on some silly video which was probably stolen off of Youtube and originally posted by some random guy as a joke.

Unfortunately yes it is. I've known plenty of attention seekers that post this kind of shite (and I say that angrily as someone with a long history of self injury)

Someone on my news feed posted something today along the lines of "My brave mother has beaten cancer for the second time in her life. She has inspired me and I have decided that if this status gets 1,000 likes then I will donate £500 to cancer research" and most of the comments are "OMG you're such a nice person" and "You're incredible, more people should be like you". It's sickening.

a) There's no reason to mention your mum's cancer on Facebook, really
b) Why not just donate the money instead of asking for 1,000 likes?

It drives me insane! It's the same with people who post statuses and pictures of themselves donating money to tramps and homeless people. Do they really just do this so people think they're wonderful? I have ALOT more respect for people who do nice things and don't put them on Facebook.

”

I would have replied "if you're that inspired why don't you just donate it anyway?"
