I caved in and logged onto Facebook to have a look at all these make-up free selfies. All the comments are predictably along the lines of 'ur still gorgeous hun' 'aww thanks'. The person who posted the photo acts all self-deprecating but really those are just the responses she was after!

My brother told me that there is a male Facebook photo fad now - "C*ck in a sock" - has anyone here seen that going on?

Yeah, I've seen the odd photo.

My female 'friend' , the one who can't seem to hold onto a bloke for more than 5 minutes it seems, has posted a photo of a bloke with a 'long one' let's say.

Had to hide it as it made me feel uncomfortable.

Someone on my friend list has just shared an online website "exposing" peadophiles and stuff. My friend has alerted everyone to the fact that there is apparently a peadophile in the village and not only has he posted a link containing the man's photograph, but also his name and address. There's a few news articles linking to it to "prove" the man is an offender, but because my friend has posted it there is now about 200 comments from locals threatening to go to his door and beat him up. Apparently they've went round and smashed his windows in and graffiti'd his door and are going to the council first thing tomorrow to complain. A few men are threatening to kill him.

Oops.

I haven't seen any of the c*cks in socks photos, but I've had a few t*ts in mitts (putting gloves on your bewbs).

I've a situation brewing that looks good, on my friends list. One of my friends has been feeling really depressed lately but won't say why, turns out that it might be a bit of trouble with flirting with someone else's boyfriend. This went up:

Quote:
“this is [Girl's name],,i found some thing that truly needs relating,,,,im sick of yur damn head games at my expense!!!,,,,NOW I KNOW THE TRUTH!!!!!!!,DREAM ON!!!!!U R NOW AWARE Y U R NOT ALLOWED IN THE RESDENCE MY BELOVED AND I SHARE TOGETHER,,,,,,IMAGE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,”

along with a print screen of a message my friend apparently sent to the 'beloved':

Quote:
“Can we cuddle? Just in our underwear, so our skin can touch. Can I hold you while you wrap yourself around me? I'll play with your hair and drag my fingernails over your skin. You'll peck at my neck while I laugh and tell you to stop. We could whisper cute things to each other over our pillows that no one else can hear.
Then I'll pull out my hunting knife and sacrifice you to the mighty dark lord, Satan, while I chant sacrificial hymns.”

I've added the bold myself, because it's a bit tl;dr and sappy, but I'd consider that message a complete micky-take.

Really? Where did this take place? You got any of the alleged links 'proving' his guilt?

Over the last few days, three different friends have said they've used their boobs to get out of a speeding ticket. Seems strange that I've had three people say this in the space of less than a week, so not sure if this is a new thing, a la people posting their bra colours, or if feminism truly is dead.

I had a friend put that! The comments were as follows

Friend 1. If you had said that in a few weeks id have believed you!
Friend 2. You should be careful hun, next time you might not be so lucky x
Friend 3. Im with friend one, cant believe this at all!

I thought maybe she was getting a boob job in a few weeks which would make sense from what friend one put. Friend 2 was female so i guess didnt know and thought she really was speeding. Friend three seems to know something is going on ina few weeks as does friend one so maybe they thought it was early april fools?

Im none the wiser but so far only had one friend post it.

Eta just googled and mumsnet had the answer! They were arguing how unreasonable it was for women to flaunt their assests to get out of a fine and then someone put them straight.

Apparently if you like or comment it then you get sent a list of statuses and you have to put one of them with no explanation. They range from describing diarhhea to asking if any friends will lend you a tampon. Apparently its nothing to do with cancer awareness just "fun".

I have seen it as well, looks like it is another one of those "crazy " facebook games. If you like or comment then you then have to post another status.

Quote:
“ 1. Someone offered me a job as a prostitute but i 'm hesitant. 2. I think i am in love with someone, what should i do? 3. Ive decided to stop wearing underwear. 4. I still love my ex. 5. I really dont know how to tell everyone but im fed up of hiding it im gay. 6. Guess it was too good to be true. Im pregnant. 7. Just won £7000 on a scratchcard. 8. A mouse just ran across my feet. 9. Ive just found ive been cheated on for the last 5 months. 10. My husband/wife/lover found a new job, we are moving to China”

Oh that's soooooooo hilarious.

NOT

A while ago, if you left your phone unattended you might get 'fraped' or 'fhacked' whereby one of your chums would make a funny FB status. Are people nowadays so desperate for attention that they make their own wacky status updates?

Thankfully none of my friends have done this yet. I know one who will though. Give it time.

Thank god for that, because an hour later she posted to ask if anyone had a tampon she could borrow!

To all those posting false statuses about being pregnant, why dont you think of the people going through painful IVF, or who have lost a child. Not so funny now is it.

people really are dicks. This is from a girl i used to be friends with who can only post pics of her toddler, or videos of said toddler or things about babies.

What irks me is the people who post these "joke" statuses about being pregnant as its a bit of fun, and then take to fb months later ranting like hell because a rumours going around their town that they are pregnant!

Ive seen people putting on fb about how people are gossiping about them having an abortion and then scroling through their timeline and seeing them saying how they are pregnant etc. not everyone realises its some hilarious joke, so no wonder people spread gossip!

They are driving me potty and now the celebs are doing it

Why not just donate without the fuss like millions of people do... but then where is the 'ego rub' in that

I put a C*ck in a sock pic on my wall and it was removed by FB

There is another one not sure what it's called but it's women with boobs in socks

Oh, that's a letdown. I thought it was hilarious that a lady in her mid 60s could have potentially been in that situation!

And it's Mother's Day on Sunday, cue lots of "love my mum to the moon and back", and photos of mums enjoying breakfast in bed from their "ickle angulz"...am I just too cynical?

A friend on my Facebook lost her baby at 20 weeks into pregnancy. We were all devastated for her. That was last July. Now don't get me wrong I feel sorry for her but every min of the day it's about mummy of an angel pictures and poems, missing my baby, the list goes on. Constant posts and then people answering saying what an inspiration you are. Posts all about herself and wanting attention or people to feel sorry for her. Her profile pic is of the baby's legs. Iv had three miscarriages myself but don't feel the need to put it on fb. She is now pregnant again, but her posts are worse! I'm not the only one who thinks this, people don't want to hurt her feelings by saying something.

Maybe her pregnancy has brought her fears back?

Well maybe but but these posts have been consistent from the time she had lost the baby. Now a bit more these days. The baby had lots wrong with it, it wasn't growing, spine wasn't formed. Basically everything. This pregnancy everything looks great. I'm not being disrespectful as iv been there before and have 2 healthy children now. But with this person it's all about me me. She thrives on people thinking she's an inspiration or feeling sorry for her. Even on other posts she turns it round to me me.

I don't think I'd be happy having someone who is comfortable doing something like that on my FB list
