Crikey this is a hard game to manage with the timings and weather interruptions. More power to your elbow for doing so.
Thanks Department_S, the New York weather and the USTA's scheduling are bad combination!

Thanks for the list epy. This scheduling is very confusing
Cheers epy and fab for the updates / schedules
No problem!

I'm not sure if I'm still in, but just in case:

Ana Ivanovic
B/U Wozniacki
You're still in it, but Kanepi's match is being held over to today, so your Ivanovic selection will only count if Kanepi wins.

At the end of day 3, we lost three more competitors.

Bhavesh was the first casualty of the day, as his pick of Igor Sijsling lost in four sets to German qualifier Peter Gojowczyk. The biggest flop of the day was undoubtedly Fabio Fognini, as he won just 5 games against Rajeev Ram, this meant that James1953 also left the competition. There was another upset in the early hours of the morning, as Jurgen Melzer lost in straight sets to Evgeny Donskoy, ending topgooners run in the competition.

Only 5 entrants have made it to day 4.

The only person we lost today was big bro geek who sadly couldn't get their picks in before the 4 pm deadline.

The matches involving Kanepi, Cirstea, Lisicki and Kerber were cancelled. Bhavesh, tso, Magpie, topgooner, Mike Teevee and James are definitely through to day 4.

For everyone else, their day 4 selections will only count if their day 3 picks win their rescheduled matches.

11 entrants are still in the WTA contest.

Totally had a panic and realised I didn't predict yesterday - only to realise I was put out on day 2!

Good luck everyone still in and thanks for running it once again EPY/Fab.

Sorry Mike, I've been away from the PC for most of the day.

I think JustWonderful ran the Australian Open game this year, but as you said, I'd imagine it would be a lot easier to organise because people would have from mid-morning to midnight to get their predictions in.

The US Open is a lot easier to run than Wimbledon and the French!

Really? I'd say the timing, bad organising and weather makes the US Open a lot harder!
