From matches held over from the previous day only Simonl87 went out thanks to a shock loss for Cirstea.

Impressively we got 10/10 people here through too so absolutely no one went out on day 4!

Sorry Mike, I've been away from the PC for most of the day.

I think JustWonderful ran the Australian Open game this year, but as you said, I'd imagine it would be a lot easier to organise because people would have from mid-morning to midnight to get their predictions in.

The US Open is a lot easier to run than Wimbledon and the French!
Really? I'd say the timing, bad organising and weather makes the US Open a lot harder!
Interesting

From a playing point of view USO is a doodle as (for UK'ers) have until 4pm to enter. For someone as forgetful as me, AO's cut off time is a bit tricky

Wimby scheduling makes sense to, whilst I don't have any opinion on FO (which could mean it's secretly the best )

The problem with the USO is it often doesn't finish until a ridiculously late time so it often relies on whoever's organising it to be up early to post the results/fixtures in the morning.

Also the cut off time means people don't have time to do it after work.

It's not so bad for a competition like this where you can post your predictions well before a round has finished. For the old US Open comp I ran it was an absolute nightmare.

We lose two more players today with Bhavesh forgetting to predict and James falling foul of having too much faith in the Brits.
