Acer charger - not!

I have a top of the range Acer laptop and couldn't be more pleased with it. I have also had a HP laptop, and the charger which came with it, was a HP branded one. The one which came with the Acer is a LiteOn charger, which has now stopped working. Does Acer not manufacture chargers? Only a small point , which won't deter me from buying Acer again, but I would have thought that, even if they get another company to supply the chargers, they would have Acer imprinted on them. I have never seen an Acer charger. Does anyone have an Acer tablet / smartphone and, if so, what brand is the charger?
Sorry, I've just noticed, I've posted this in tablets and ereaders, by mistake, instead of pc hardware and software.

I think most chargers are made by third parties such as Lite On. Some are re-badged though if a client requires it.

Acer has never bothered rebranding chargers. Also, if you look on your HP charger you'll probably see in the small print somewhere the manufacturer name. Also, Acer, HP, Dell etc. don't manufacture anything either. They design products then pay other companies to manufacture the product for them. However, there are exceptions (Asus did own Pegatron which manufactured PCs and other products but it was spun-off a while back). Samsung also manufacture components and other products. I have an Acer charger from an old terrible eMachines laptop (Acer laptop, using the eMachines brand) and it's manufactured by Hipro.
