Found stray cat.

Cat is about 11 months old i found him 4 weeks ago he was in a poor state , i put notices around but no-one has come forward to claim him. I have got him back up to health and got his weight back on and got him a bit confident around people.
However i need to re-house him as i only have permission for one cat which i already had Sparky.
The cats protection centre in wolves is full does anyone have any idea how i can re-house him? I'm trying to avoid gumtree etc due to many baiters using it.

I would think using gumtree would be ok if you ask for a token £20-£30 as that should put the baiters off. Though I'd imagine people using that would be after kittens not adults.

Have you checked for other cat charities in the area? I noticed quite a few round me on google.
You could also try Cat Chat

Good luck.

please dont use gumtree, alot of bad people get cats from here to use as dog fighting bait.

He is nuetured took him to vets too no micro chip. It looks like whoever had him got bored and dumped him. I'd love to keep him but there is no chance housing association will allow me two cats.

Bit of good news on this i got a local radio station involved who put out a message , and i can say the cat is now back with his rightful owners. It turns out someone had stolen the cat originally and by looks of it they decided to dump it , luckily i found him when i did and never gave up trying to find his owners. The owners showed me pictures of him which confirmed to me he was theirs plus he seemed to recognise them straight away.
