Michael Caine has said that his best friend Sean Connery is no longer in control of his senses and is possibly in the grip of Alzheimer's.

He gave a Interview to a German Magazine and said one must have serious concerns for him.

So sad if it's true that he has this awful illness.

I've posted that in the rumours thread as there has been a lot of speculation about an actor who was showing signs of Alzheimers. I don't think anyone guessed it might be him.

He's starting to age now. Not surprising though considering his age. I think it will be announced on the news if he has it when his family decide the time's right.

Difficult to find any sympathy for a man who deems it acceptable to beat his wife.

Isn't it a bit rude of Caine to come out with something like that when it hasn't been publicly announced before?

Absolutely agree. It's not for him to announce this dreadful news.

Daily Mail link appears to have been taken down. I hope it's not true, it's a truly horrible disease, my grandma had it.
