The great news about what Three are doing is that this will benefit those who stay on 3G too as some data pressure will be relieved by people moving over to the LTE services.
I'm still concerned about how good Three's 4G will be relative to the rest as they have less spectrum than the others? Will Vodafone and EE be the best for LTE (looking purely at speeds, ignoring price and data limits). ![]() http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/08...spectrum_sale/ http://media.ofcom.org.uk/2013/02/20...obile-auction/ |

I'm currently on the all you can eat package (Iphone 5) - do I go on to this automatically or do I have to do something?

Automatically. You'll probably get a sim update some time in the future which just requires you to press accept.

Same thing? No....
![]() What's the difference? Shouldn't take long for that to be released but it not a simple sim update. |

If I remember rightly its similar as on android when you receive updates to the phone. Apple controls the base look and feel and carriers can add optional extras those enabled by software updates. Stuff like 4G enabled or HD Voice or Tethering/Hotspot for instance.
Shouldn't take long for that to be released but it not a simple sim update. Btw Three website update tomorrow. New 4G logo like i mentioned (should be live tomorrow). |

Unless I reading Three's blog right it sounds like they planning to launch 1800MHz and 800MHz in December. Also sounds like tethering is remaining on the one plan.
Edit also sounds like they have the list of 50 cities by end of 2014 I hope that gets published eventually would be nice to see. |

Ask On Three's Blog they seem be saying yes or no but it is likely as there isn't a lot more than 50 Cities in the UK. Though if I remember Preston has only been a city for what 10 years it not a massive amount of time.

Thanks for that I appreciate that. So Three are looking to cover about 72.5% of all UK cities by end of next year pretty impressive.
