Film 1st on Homechoice

I have been really looking forward to viewing a couple of films when they arrived, Dawn of the dead, Troy and Eternal Sunshine blah blah, when i saw they were on Sky I did assume these big movies would appear on Homechoice but sadly not.

It seems Film 1st has a couple of big films and the rest is packed out with smaller titles or crap obscure movies.

Im sure at one stage they used to have the same major movies as Sky Boxoffice and rather than get better its getting worse.

They have a couple of major titles as hooks and then when you look deeper its all crap.

It seems a real shame, I have now got to watch the films i want on Sky.

It all depends on the rights that VideoNetworks can get.

If Sky have purposefully bought up all the UK rights then no-one else can show the films. I wouldn't put it past Sky to do this to exclude what they see as a potentially powerful competitor in the future - they already purchase full rights for a lot of sports then re-sell the rights for which they can't honour themselves.
