How to upload photos from laptop to tablet.

I have an Android NATPC tablet onto which I'm trying to upload photos from my laptop- without any success. I've googled for instructions but I'm just not getting it
Please can anyone help with simple 'do this' then 'do that' advice?

easiest way - add them to Google+ photos from your laptop.

Assuming that tablet has the standard Gallery app it will auto sync to anything in g+ photos.

Connect device to PC with USB cable
Open Windows Explorer/Click on Computer in Start menu
Open Computer under Desktop and look for your device
Open device folder, and the Internal storage folder under that.
if there is no folder called Pictures, create it.
Create folder(s) under Pictures named to describe the set of pictures you are copying e.g. Maldives (I should be so lucky!)
Select the photos you want to copy on your PC and drag them to your new folder(s).
Job done.
You can then view them in the stock Gallery app, or a better free app I found is QuickPic, which displays pictures in the right order - I found Gallery displays them backwards.

I'm not familiar with your particular model of tablet, but it should just have some sort of Gallery app pre-installed. "Pictures" or "Photos" maybe.

Normally looks like a bit like this when you open it:

Do you collect shoes, or is it just a fetish?

Thank you JeffG1. I can't move on past step 3. The tablet is connected via a USB port to the laptop but I'm not getting a message on screen to confirm this

You might not. The important thing is whether or not it is visible in (My) Computer as a disk drive or not.

Am having another go as I think the cable from each device may be faulty.

some tablets won't show up as USB storage for you to drag and drop over. may also need drivers.

Or you can go for a cableless method. Upload to cloud storage of your choice (like I said G+ photos will do it automatically), download to tablet. done.
