Hello DigitalSpy

Can anyone recommend a video camera that I can mount on the wall to record people performing on stage?

I want to mount the camera and leave it in place.

I want to be able to wirelessly broadcast what the camera is recording to my PC.

I don't want to have to keep taking the SD card out to transfer the video to my PC.

Also I don't want the camera to fill the SD card up, meaning I would have to take the camera down, to remove and wipe the SD card.

Am I asking for too much?

Any recommendations appreciated.

Thanks.

Have a look at Wi-Fi memory cards (Eye Fi), could be cheaper than buying a dedicated wireless camcorder.

Sorry, no recommendations on a camcorder.

Is this the same question that you have posted about in the other thread you just started?

It's probably best to lay out the whole scenario and list what gear you have access to and what your budget is.

As a start though, have a look at IP CCTV cameras.

Gentlemen, yes and no is the answer, it's a problem of 3 parts:

I want to capture a performance on stage.
I want to show the performance live on screens throughout the building as its happening.
I want to stream the performance over the internet e.g. youtube.
I haven't purchased any equipment.
I don't have a budget.
but I don't want to spend more than I have too (who would?)

I posted separately here as I assumed people with camera knowledge would reply.

I saw eye-fi. Will that stream 720p video in real time?

Best regards
