Apparently the app is no longer compatible with my Nexus 4 or brand new Nexus 7 since the update... Great! Nevermind that we're STILL waiting on the ability to download, that iOS users have had for ages. Get your finger out BBC!

The app hasn't worked for Android 4.1.2 on my Smart TV box for several months. The BBC cannot cope with supporting Android equipment as well as Windows and Apple based computers. They have got something terribly wrong.

Just noticed that on my new Nexus but works fine on my Android 4.1.2 on my GS3.
This is not good enough by BBC or do they not get a new Android versions before release?

I just searched XDA for the APK and it works fine.

Was annoyed it wouldn't work on my news N7 despite working fine on my old N7 that was updated to 4.3

You need to download another app called 'BBC Media Player' which allows the iPlayer to work. I'm fine on my 2012 Nexus 7 with Android 4.3

Yes the update has fixed my problem and downloads now too! Case closed!
