Corrie Sinead's fringe
Now, I want to put this sensitively, but does anyone else think that Sinead's pudding-bowl fringe makes her look a bit...well, let's say less compos mentis than she would be with a normal fringe? Having her hair up in that swingy pony tail doesn't do her any favours either, though she'd make an excellent extra in Call The Midwife.
I know a lot of people on here like Sinead but that fringe bothers me. Dying to get my hands on a pair of straighteners and sort out the curving-in bits. |

The actress is really pretty but they give Sinead a old women's woredrobe and hairstyle

The fringe is the least of the lassie's worries, the fact she's sniffing around gormless Chesney would raise sufficient alarm bells for me.

I agree, I hate full front fringes they don't do anyone good for looks and become too much of a distraction from the face in my opinion. They need to give Sinead's wardrobe a full redesign too she dresses like a 60 year old who hasn't got a penny to spare..

True but if she sorted out the fringe it would widen her options. Slap on the Ronseal, bleach the teeth, get the old tribal ear-bangles going - she could have her pick of Jason or Ryan.

Sinead is gorgeous and I won't have any more negative comments about her on my forum.

She is beautiful and doesn't matter how she dresses. Better than walking around wearing hardly anything with loads of fake tan.

I remember when they gave Maria a new look instead of her dowdy kennel maid clothes when she worked in the Rovers for a short time. Although I have always thought that Maria was naturally pretty and didn`t need much of a makeover.
Sinead is gorgeous - much prettier than Katie in my opinion. |

But mo mouse you're not seeing it from a lady's perspective. She's a perfectly nice-looking girl with an unsuitable fringe. In a totally sisterly way I'm saying lose it or be stuck mooning around Chesney all your life.

She's supposed to be the antithesis of Katy, who is beautiful in a polished sort of way. Sinead is earthy and beautiful in a girl-next-door way, which suits Chesney. As a result she must wear macs and flower prints and have an old fashioned hair cut. Once the actress beds in a bit she'll probably be dressed a bit more fashionable, like Maria and Katy both turned once they were in it for a while.

Nobody should be told how to look if it just isn't 'them'. Not every girl wants to wear mini-skirts and flaunt their bodies in public. There needs to be more characters like Sinead to reflect how it is in the real world.

I'd have thought that being able to afford a decent haircut would be one of the fringe benefits of having a contract on a regular soap such as Corrie!
