I ordered a Sim only deal from their website, for £7.50 a month, this includes Blackberry Boost. It then arrives and i put it in my Phone, and bear in mind the phone is open to any network. I Put the SIM card in and boot up the phone. The phone boots and apparently the (SIM is not Provisioned:2)

I ring TalkTalk up and they have no idea what the problem is, so they tell me I have to wait until Monday to get answer.

So i wanted to cancel the contract, before i could even use the damn thing and they hung up on me!

sim not provisioned usually means an inactive sim. (IE, it hasn't been switched on yet)

How are people finding TalkTalk Mobile?

I am thinking of switching from Three Mobile and have a PAC code at the ready.

Its on the Vodafone network. Make sure you test Vodafone coverage and data speeds before you move from Three !

Vodafone works for me at home but my wife who is on a very good grandfathered deal has Three Home Signal which is excellent and so makes up for the poor Three signal - and my number is registered on it.

But I understand that the TalkTalk "signal strength" is not the same as the Vodafone "signal strength" as it uses surplus capacity.

I got the PAC code from Three basically as i was trying to negotiate a good 12 month SIM only deal and they called my bluff. Three have stopped giving discounts or kick backs via Carphone Warehouse or Quidco so they must be attracting business.
