I prefer skinny jeans (and jeggings) as they go with whatever else I throw at them.

I was surprised at how much I prefer myself in them, I'd always been a boot cut woman as thought skinny jeans were just for teenagers/early twenty something's with waif like figures.
I'm an hourglass shape and I completely prefer my body in skinnys and jeggings. I was convinced to try some on, after much huffing/sighing I took them to changing room and was seriously gobsmacked.

so yeah, skinny jeans for me!

Yes, all of this. I've binned my once-beloved bootcuts now and am a skinny girl for good. They make me look thinner.

Congrats on weight loss to OP .

Prefer skinny but have but boot cut as well. Like Gap's, but found good cheap ones in TK Maxx. You just have to hunt around a bit.

(Hope guys are allowed to post here too? )

Skinny jeans, for sure. I hope the trend never dies! I can't go back to flares.

I love quite a few High Street stores for jeans. Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop and River Island are my top three and I thoroughly recommend them. I wear those more than 7 For All Mankind and Max Mara ones.

Definitely skinny jeans. Or if not, then slim fit or straight leg. Bootcut jeans look rather dated now, I think. Although I do have a pair of skinny flares.

If you are young and happened to be female ( or male for that matter) you should try to wear it as less as possible as it reduce the chances to get pregnant ( if you are planning it...) So, avoid jeans....

I like straight jeans, or a very slim flare/bootcut. Skinny jeans can be really uncomfortable - I have the jeggingsy version, but only wear them with longer tops. I like to buy more expensive ones in a sale rather than cheaper ones at full price. I agree with the poster who advised you to shop around and to have a look in TK Maxx

Another fan of skinny jeans here, especially now its getting colder, nice to wear with boots and a long jumper! but do like my scruffy bootlegs with wedgey sandals in summer.

I'm a bloke and I prefer boot cut jeans in the main though I do have a couple of pairs with a slight flared hem from a few years ago that I really don't want to throw away and enjoy wearing from time to time.

I swim frequently and have more generous thighs than a lot of blokes, so when I tried skinny jeans on a few years ago, they just didn't look right on me! However, I have a pair of 'straight cut' trousers, which aren't as bad, and look fine on me though I wouldn't say I preferred them to boot cut jeans.

I have skinny and bootcut. Bootcut for wearing with platforms, sandals and ankle boots. Skinny for flats, knee highs and flip flops.

Same here. I am 45 and thought I was too old for skinny jeans but I thought, what the hell, as long as I am not trying to look 18 I will get a pair and see what they look like. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how smart they were and not teeny-boppery at all. I was starting to feel frumpy in boot-cuts. I'm a size 10 and although I am short I have long legs for my height so they suited me. I got a mid-blue pair from Tesco for £14 - can't grumble at that.

Im the same. I am a sixe 14-16 and i really didn't think skinny jeans would suit me. But I bought a pair when i lost weight (i was a size 20) and I love them. They look great with boots and long tops. But if I go out for the evening I dress them up with blouses and they look just as good.

yep me to. Dorothy Perkins straight cut and M&S slim bootcut i find most flattering yep and that jeggings with long tops, kindred spirits . I never find any in TK Maxx, maybe because i'm a short arse and need shorter leg length

they fit but they must be a small fitting

i am wearing size 14 jeans now, an old pair and they fit nice, so the newer ones must be a tight fitting so when i lose more weight  i will wear them

I love Levi Curve but then they're the only jeans that really fit my big bum/small waist combo

Neither, I only ever wear straight jeans, but they're becoming quite hard to find. Primark stopped selling them

Skinny jeans looks nice and sexy specialy with high heels. I have fat thigh and i should rather wear straight jeans, but it's difficult to find them. Maybe you have some tested internet shops?

Straight jeans are getting harder to find. I got some Diesel ones second hand from ebay though and they're really nice. If you don't mind second hand, might be worth a look. Also I've seen a few pairs on Brandalley - but they were expensive even with the discount.

The only jeans I wear are skinnies. I like the American Apparel Easy Jeans/Topshop Joni Jeans as they are high waisted, make your waist look tiny and are well fitting. Need to wear a thong or G string (or no panties...hehe) as you will have very obvious VPL with those jeans though.
