I'd rather watch that than some depressing, Guardian-pleasing Ken Loach rubbish.
The person you're replying to didn't even mention the Guardian. And in any case, I very much doubt Ken Loach has spent his career making award winning films (or "rubbish" if you prefer) just to please some unspecified person or persons at the Guardian.

I saw it today and quite enjoyed it, its got all the Curtis hallmarks but they are some more sombre moments especially nearer the end of the film. There are some funny moments but I did like the scene where he uses the time travel to change his best man due to their speeches and ends up using his Dad!

Also like the reference to Trash which is the next film Richard Curtis is writing.
