For me it's Confide In Me. It's unlike anything she's done before or since (with the exception of Where The Wild Roses Grow, but that was mainly down to Nick Cave not Kylie). Very edgy and cold, if you understand what I mean, with a fantastic intro. It has none of the bouncy, poppy trademarks of her earlier hits, and none of the disco campness that seems to imbue her most recent (last few years) hits. Spinning Around comes a close second. It combines the pop and disco aspects to great effect.

Her most recent songs have been, IMO, rubbish.
I like I Should Be So Lucky, and In Your Eyes.
Ooh, and Especially For You.

Have to admit that Kylie isn't my cup of tea but I have always liked Confide in Me which she released back in the days when nobody would buy or play her records. Of her newer stuff I quite like kids with Robbie Williams but wouldn't bother with the rest.

OK I might get a public flogging here but I like Kylie! OK before you presume.....yes she is very nice and all that BUT I do like her music too.....honest!!!

I only seemed to like her music when everyone else didnt! The first album I bought (when it was actually released) was the white album ("Kylie Minogue" - how original!) her first on the Deconstruction label after leaving S.A.W. I bought if for the great tracks "Confide in Me" and "Put yourself in my place" and have bought all her albums since then. I also think the "Impossible Princess" album that seemed to be originally pulled to pieces by the press is quite good and has some great tracks on it....

OK back to the question...my favourite single tracks would have to be....

1. Put yourself in my place
2. Chocolate
3. Please stay

Favourite albums tracks:-

1. Your love (from Fever)
2. Promises (from Body Language)
3. Time will pass you by (from Kylie Minogue)

Yes that's one of my faves too, (and not just because of the Video)

Also 'Turn it into Love' of the first album.

The tune of Confide In Me sounds just like Judas Priest's The Hellion.

Can't Get You Out Of My Head is a brilliant pop dance tune.

What Do I Have To Do is an amazing song and I Should Be So Lucky brings back sooooo many memories.

But like the OP, I do love Confide In Me, as it shows Kylie's different side.

Fave album track is Your Disco Needs You but it is better in the Almighty remixed version.

Fave b side is Cover Me With Kisses - great sound.

BIG Kylie fan, me

No one's mentioned my favourite yet,

Step Back In Time

proper tune! Her 80s stuff is the catchiest, Better The Devil (ok 1990), I Should Be So Lucky, Got To Be Certain, Hand on Your Heart and Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi always bring back great memories, especially their cheesy videos.

Lighten up dude, she makes happy fun music, that's all, she's not trying to be the next Mozart.
