I have just purchased a second HDR-Fox T2 and on setting up, I thought I would check its current firmware to see if it was running what I thought was the latest version (1.02.32).
However, it is showing version 1.03.06, with a loader version of a7.34.

I have done some searching but can find no reference to this firmware.

So, does anybody know of this version and what it addresses, or adds to the previous 1.02.32?

Thanks for any help.

First things first, don't downgrade to the older version or put the custom firmware on yet. There has been some issues with people bricking their HDR's or having intermmittent issues and suggestions there may be a hrdware change in it.

Hi Steve.
Thanks for the information. I have now read the entire thread and like the posters, will have to wait until it becomes available before we all know what changes it has made (if any).
I didn't give downgrading to 1.02.32 a second thought due to the loader version being different!!
Although I searched various combinations of 1.03.06 on Google, nothing came up. Strange as the Hummy thread has the number in its title!

No problem, wanted to get in quick there when I saw it in case you put the custom firmware on! Of course it would be nice if they enabled the IPTV channels to work (or at the very least not crash the box) but I'm not holding my breath.

Could well just be to support a different revision of hardware, maybe backwards compatible with old boxes but not the other way around etc. but is all just speculation of course.

If you spot anything different then post here/there and let us all know!
