I do.

She and Tamera occupy the same genre and have similar styles/voices.

If we know Nicole then she'll try to make her team as diverse as possible. So there's no way she's accepting both of them with 3 audition episodes left. And Tamera the more pop star one and could potentially be more controversial. Nicole's definitely taking Tamera over Hannah.

And look at the air time. Hannah's was so edited as to be almost highlights. After all the time on Saturday, it was almost an afterthought. I'd be very surprised if she makes the lives, she will be sacrificed at Judges Houses for sure.

Some ways I agree and some ways I disagree
Hannah is very soulful and don't think her voice is similar to Tamera's. Tamera's is deffo pop star material.

As happened to the brilliant Leanne Robinson last year. Its nothing short of a disgrace that they treat the contestants like this.

She seems like a contestant who could grow throughout the competition but for the time being I think she will be the judges houses shock boot.

Not at all. Very different voices and styles, IMO. Hannah will be given the moody classic soul and blues numbers, Tamera will get the sexy, sassy pop songs and ballads. I'm sure all the focus will be on Tamera, to the detriment of others, but I don't see the two of them as competing for the same spot.

I'm kind of thinking she'll get to Judge's Houses. Don't know about her chances from there.

Spoiler

I don't see why two 'black' people can't be in the final mix. I know they have to have quotas over-all to make the show balanced but Hannah will be in for certain.

Didn't use that word. If one was completely pop and one was rock then I wouldn't say anything. But atm they both seem to be soul (albeit T has a little more pop) so they're competing for the same place knowing Nic.

Why twist what I said?

If you think Tamera and Hannah are the same then you really have no idea about music and genres. It is like saying Whitney and Aretha are the same while they are nothing like each other!

Yes, not too many young singers like that these days unfortunately.

I would love Hannah to take on Cissy Houston's Version of Your Song made famous by Elton John.

Hannah and Tamera aren't overly similar, but I agree it could boil down to them being seen as filling the same position and one will have to go. But above all, I think it's pretty unlikely to have 2/3 of the girls category shown in the opening show. I'd say there's a lot more talent to come, the girls is always a good category.

It will be sad if one gets sacrificed over the other in the girls category if they both do get through to the judges houses, that is. Hannah is very soulful and different to Tamera.

I think Hannah was distinctly average. Her typical X-Factor dead relative sob story didn't make me like her even more either, which is weird because I normally fall hook line and sinker for that stuff.

If, by some crap miracle, she made the lives she'd be gone within the first 4 weeks.

There is no need to be so rude about one of the contestants just because you dont like their style of music, or to make light of her losing her father at such a young age.

Hannah is good but I think she'll be cut at Judges houses to be honest.

Agree with this post.

If I remember correctly, in 2005 Sharon took 3 black people into her final four (all of a similar RnB type) and there were at least 2 other black artists in the final 12 too.
