I just notice the same people complaining over the threads! Just look at social media etc, Tamera is loved by the majority.

What is this meant to show?

She could be the most loved woman in the world. That bootcamp performance is completely out of tune, her being popular with the majority doesn't change that! You can love her as much as you want, but you cannot defend that and justify the ending! It's horrendously out of tune!

No. Because she was awful. I think she's actually very talented, but my God that performance. That was painful to listen to.

Yeah! I can understand people like her but some of the OTT comments about this performance are ridiculous! Nobody can defend this!

Hannah was eadily the best of the 3 recordings.

Did Hannah actually play the piano or is that just a backing track?

A backing track i would imagine. She did a great job with the song.

Again why are people making such a big deal out of VOCALS. So she hit a few bum notes, so what? This is the X Factor not The Voice UK, Britney, Rihanna, Christina and even Mariah have had their fair share of bum notes but you don't see anyone bringing them up.

Tamera is perfect for the show IMO, having a good voice helps but IMO you need to have star quality to be a success in the music industry today and Tamera has just that. She has a great image and has everything a record label would look for. This is what I felt Misha B lacked...

I read somewhere she performed on the piano but I don't know if it's true or not.

Not everyone is going to have perfect vocals in the auditions/bootcamp the judges just want who has the most potential and someone who they think will do well on the show. They like putting some through so they can watch them grow.

I thought all of the recordings sounded amazing loved Hannahs and Sam's recording was so nice. Tamera's Stay version was quite good too even though she hit a few bad notes but still overall good.

That's the problem though. It wasn't a few "bad" notes! It was lots of awful notes! I completely agree about people with potential, but there is a limited time to get these girls better. What's the point in putting Tamera through that could go on to become amazing in week 11, when they could put Hannah through and become amazing in week 4'

None of them are going to be amazing in that amount of time. It takes months and years to become a top artist. They can all show some improvement, but that is all it can be. Other than that it is just potential, of which Hannah shows the most so far.

Hannah is the best vocalist on this listen. Sam second and Tamera third. On this I'd put Hannah through and give Tamera a year to come back.

So surely it would make sense to send Tamera home especially when she hits notes so awful! Then she can come back and actually sing in tune?

Well having heard her live at bootcamp, she didn't overly impress me. I find her affected and she overdoes it, but perhaps that's just me.

Don't mean to push obnoxiously, but do you have anymore recordings?

Edit: Didn't read first post properly. Nevermind.

it wasn't bad in any way at all she just over did it 100% and thats not how the song it supposed to be sang!, i like the first half of her performance but the second half was just way too much! vocally impressive but just way too much for that song!

Are they the only 3 you have? Because last year I remember you had everyone's bootcamp audio recordings...

Wow god forbid people might actually worry about vocals in a singing competition

I'm bored of people trying to make excuses for Tamera, there's only so far someone can be taken based on potential, if she's not building upon that potential it's a waste of time, the ending of that performance was horrifically out of tune.

she needs help to build up on her potential she's not gonna get better and sing perfectly well on bootcamp if she didnt during her audition, we'll see her improve in the live shows

but why should she be given a place in the live shows over someone who doesn't sing out of tune in bootcamp? If she needs help on her singing, then she should be taking the initiative and should have taken vocal lessons between her audition and bootcamp.

We can't just ignore her faults because she might see her improve at some point

well we're not gonna get anywhere so we should just agree to disagree, but imho Tamera's too good to let go cause she needs to work on her vocals; I honestly think that if the show let her go after this massive exposure she'd be signed right away and the producers don't wanna miss on another potential x factor massive star. ella's light years away in her singing but tamera's star quality is nowhere near hers

Listening to Tamera's audition, I have realised how much she sounds like pretty much every other black soul diva who auditions for The X Factor
