God knows why i thought of Maria - unless it was because she used to be the street bike!

Every "love scene" with them makes me feel rather sick

Tina says it was great seeing Simon again. By the way, tell him I said goodbye as he's in the next room and I can't be bothered to go in there.

They make me wretch. The sooner she's killed off the better.

Loved seeing the subtlety of the scarlet shirt she had on tonight. Also peter it might be an idea to clean out the shower before curly uses it

I loved the sandwich conversation. I was hoping they'd mention one of my favs, mars bar and date. Or ham and banana

So did I; and they did seem quite natural again some of the time this evening, when they were laughing together again. Actually they seemed more compatible at those times than Peter and his present wife do at times.

Yes I can't see how anyone could fail to notice that Peter's been much more relaxed and jovial with Tina. He always appears uptight when he's with Carla. In fact I don't mean to sound rude but I think it's the most apt way to describe it, it's just as though when he and Carla are together it's as if he has a stick jammed up his bum and at the moment it's like the stick has been removed for a bit. I think Carla overpowers him, That's why he's been looking for an outlet and a way to break free. If he's also experimenting with his sarnies you know he's got to be a lot more cheery too.

The first episode was so awful tonight I didn't bother to watch the second. Tina/Peter storyline is pathetic.

For some reason, Peter and Tina seem remarkably unconcerned about being caught.

Tina looked disappointed when Peter said nothing had happened to bring him home from Paris early. She must have been hoping Peter would confess all to Carla and leave her.

Barlow ditched Maria as there were plenty of girls like her. Who the **** decided that a cheap tattooed dirty vest wearing unshaven alcoholic pension age approaching chav would have all the top girls fawning over him. Send him to the FIZ BOMB

This could equally apply to EE, and you could add 'short and fat'.

Corrie is made by very misogynistic people. They always have middle aged men having women falling over them. I mean think of some of the sights we've seen over the years, Kevin and Molly Danny Baldwin and Leanne Ken and anyone lol.
It's how they convince men to watch, it gives them the illusion that you can still be aging, fat, lazy and not too concerned about personal hygiene and still have simple minded younger women swooning over you,
It's also a lesson to women to let them know that, yes you do have to constantly worry over your appearance and have your hair done, you do have to let that slob lie about the house and not lift a finger, you do have to be sweet and pamper the git morning, noon and night, and guess what? he's still going to run off with the barmaid the first time she says hello to him. Nice message isn't it? LOL

Very unrealistic storyline, as if a woman like Tina would go for a quickie with Peter Barlow

I think Tina's mysterious 'friends' in London were really sorting her out with a lobotomy.

She hardly needs to go to tlondon for that. David would do it for nothing with some evostick and his mums darning needle. And Liz would give her the time off to get it down of course.

To be fair, some of the actors who played these roles are quite handsome, my mate moans like hell about the men in Eastenders getting totty, especially Max haha

I think it dates back to the Carry On days, where Sid James was considered sexy to the young women in the films. They didn't think, hang on a minute, this man is in his mid fifties, I had better steer clear of the pervert

Anyway what I want to know is curly is so smart and knows everything, how does he not know that his dad is having it away with Tina and how will he react to this when he does find out and why doesn't he mention Leanne anymore.
