So funny how Julian Simmons introduced corrie tonight on utv by calling Peter Barlow a 'lying, cheating, two timing, tattooed, alcoholic bigamist with a nose like a cooker hood'
HAHA how poetic and justified!

HAHA how poetic and justified! ![]() ![]() I only saw some of the programme - was watching Dr Who on BBC 7 most of the time - but when channel hopping thought I heard him tell Tina that he loved her, too. How cruel. |

Attention seeking Herr Barlow was in his element tonight. If there's anything worse for him than being the perfect husband, It's NOT being talked about.
What a friggin diva. I'm glad he pointed out that being the perfick husband has been getting on his tits though, because it's certainly been getting on mine.

Really felt for Carla tonight. A classy lady who deserves better than an impotent drunk with his Vicious Brat son.

He recited the story of his affair as if reading from a book. I can see nothing likable at all about the character. What WILL his Dad say to him on his return?!

His whole delivery of his spiel to Carla was what caught my attention much more than what he was actually saying to her. He was so matter of fact and so pathetic at the same time. It's like he expected her to pat him on the head nearly and say that he'd been a good boy for coming clean and owning up to the truth. Mind you I don't have much sympathy for Carla either, she'll continue to carry on with her double standards where infidelity is concerned I'm sure. But at least now she gets to experience what it's like having the father of your baby fooling around behind your back first hand. It's like he thought he deserved a little bit of praise for working up the bottle (lol) to be honest and admit that he's a creep. I did feel for him tbh, he never looked more pathetic and small and it might have been an illusion but even his head seemed to have shrunken and it must have been awful to be in his shoes. But then, does he really give a toss when alls said and done? There's still not even a whiff of genuine remorse for his actions, except that he'd been found out. Would have to say I'm quite sure that Ken will stand by him and provide the brat with a shoulder to cry on as ever. That is the Barlow way lol. Last edited by AndreaMC : 28-05-2014 at 16:08. You don't like him, do you, And ?
You Mr Mouse can change your tune all you like, but I'll stick to me guns ![]() I do think the women are worse in a way, They enable blokes like him to do what they do by letting them get away with it. If Leanne had chopped it off already he'd probly have adjusted to doing something more meaningful with his life by now! OK it is him, so maybe not! |
