I've feeling Michelle would only have to click her fingers and he'd be panting like a dog in a hot car
Women equal sex to Peter.

It's strange when you think about it : despite everyone living on the same street, there are a number of small groups of characters who, in the main, only interact with each other.

Chesney - kate, sinead and fizz

Sinead - chesney, kate, fizz and beth.

Eileen - steve, lloyd and gail.

Peter - leanne, carla. Occasionally diedre and steve.

That's just my impression - I could be completely wrong.

Maybe Peter likes to cook up some love potion when he's at a loose end down in Carla's sex dungeon to get all the ladies intoxicated by pouring it in their rum and coke when they're not looking..
Or maybe it's the Lynx effect.
Either way it cannot be his looks and charming personality, can it for heaven's sake?

No you are completely right! You know that when anyone randomly speaks to someone who normally doesn't even cause a blip on their radar, then you know it's a signal a 'unexpected' affair is on the cards. Checkmate.

Impotent, cheap drunk, misogynistic Peter Barlow and bitter, horrible, aggressive Tina. What a nasty couple.

It's going to be riveting to see how Peter reacts that for sure I can't wait to see if he has some passion and burning desire burst out from where it's been hiding all this time.

I think he'll be totally smitten with Tina's beauty and femininity and maybe her youth and trusting nature will bring out the protective macho side of him, if he still has it of course.

I also am sure Tina's going to get pregnant with him, as she has to have her baby that she wanted so badly and they're going to be bonded by this ever after.

I hope Tina breaks the slimy bastards heart like it has never been broke before and he either turns back to the bottle or has to actually face himself in the mirror and do some serious soul searching that ends up with his absolutely having to try to redeem himself as a person and kill his self serving persona once and for all.
That's what I'd like but I could almost swear it won't happen

No she didn't. It was him. Leanne was one in a long line. Who can blame him, married to the Hound of The Baskervilles?

No, she didn't. He was just another customer. One in a long line, presumably.

RiverM isn't here to defend herself but when she is, i think she'll be sure to get back to you

Leanne did not know Paul was Carla's husband and tried to warn her of what he was like did she not?
Carla returned the favour by pretending to be Leanne's friend and then breaking up her family and stealing her husband.

This. It's really weird when Carla fans say that Leanne tried it on with Paul?

Maybe they are young and didnt' watch it then?

I wonder if the actor is embarrassed at the script for the character.

Yes, you're quite right Mo, Peter does need kicked headfirst into a (little) man sized wine barrel and have the lid on it screwed on shut.

I don't think he'll learn to respect the silly women around him soon though, not until they take off their rose tinted beer goggles before they look at him first and see him for the impotent cheating ratbag he is,lol.

I don't think he has the sense to be embarrassed tbh. He seems to have bought into the whole hype they've made up for him and seems to think he's God's gift. I was surprised he didn't try to make a move on Eva earlier as well, but I suppose in his evil little mind he's working on it,lol

Never noticed this! Thanks Mo. I think I could have embellished Peter's list of crimes a bit more but I've a feeling we'll soon have another long long list of valid insults to throw at him in the not so distant future He's going to get worse before he gets better

Never liked the character. A pathetic excuse of a man. Always blaming someone else for his problems, a crap Dad and not very attractive. I'm not bothered if he leaves, it might give a new lease of life to Carla if he does.
