So, you live in the US and know all about it then do you? I would never base my opinions about another country on it's tv shows. That's just ridiculous. TV shows, including reality shows, are not real life.

I don't know a single person like any of the people in these shows. We all laugh at these people. They're entertainment to us, not indicative of what real Americans are like.

I lived in America for a few years, and I get what you're saying and I do agree with it.
What I am saying however is that plastic surgery is far more prominent in the states than it is anywhere else.

Let me see,Courtney's state of undress or carol,Mario,Charlotte and louie farting around the house and finding it amusing?I think I'll opt for Courtney everytime.

My thoughts exactly.

Also, I'd say (from what I've seen on TV) that the UK seems to be okay with a bit of plastic surgery themselves.

This is so true...don't know about other countries

Not any that I know of. It amazes me that the English still like to believe that they are a well mannered nation! Those with good manners seem to be few and far between. They seem to admire public displays of bad manners.

yes it is, but only for those with money, your average American couldn't afford it.

I'm not sure she was saying she was very classy just that farting etc wasn't. I think I agree with her BTW.

I really like Carol but it's despite this aspect of her character.

Living with it would be another matter though.

Good point. Courtney is being who she is and is quite entertaining and a good housemate. I do like her even if I think she may look more attractive if she wore clothes.
But the farting is very childish. It surprises me that the highlights show made a point of showing Mario, Lauren and Charlotte letting the odd one go.
So far BB seems to be protecting Carol and Louie who are supposedly loudly letting rip all the time. Not that I want to watch and hear them farting. Thank God we don't have smellivision.

Absolutely, she can leave us to carry on with Charlotte worshiping, pee, pooh, drunken outbursts and general loutish behaviour which is what we value in this country.

I have found this to be the case as well. Every time I'm there, I'm shocked by the crass comments and tacky behavior in general, the worst of it coming mostly from the men. I don't know how English women can stand it.

We're the same over here though. Burping, farting and generally spouting off every second is the norm.

It's true of the whole of the country. Reread my original post for correct understanding

Speak for yourself, I don't know anyone who does that.

Again, speak for yourself.
Generally the British ( no clue why you singled out English) are far better mannered than most and in particular all of Asia and Africa and the USA.
It's all about culture

It did make me laugh her talking about being classy while she was sitting in the Diary room with hardly any clothes on.

Personally I don't equate class and the amount of clothes someone wears.i would sooner be around Courtney with her lack of clothing, than I would around Carol and Co stinking out the place with their stink.

Exactly--it was the ONLY amusing thing she's said in 10 days! Idiot.

The use of the term "classy" is the exclusive preserve of those who have none
